Glad I am not missing much. Pretty busy few weeks in a row. Now my son's Scout activity is up and this weekend will go too.

You know what he want to make a Rama's arrow shaped car for his derby car race in his scouting. All thanks to Sharmaji and SKR. Will know in couple days how it shapes up. He wanted to add pictures of Ram on top of the car but still don't know how to modify one of your caps to the car size. All if you grant permission:)) Stickers work better. Manda kayuthu... 😉

Watched Padmavat yesterday

It was a good movie, not as outstanding as it is being hyped but not bad at all. Infact I found it better than Bajirao Mastani. Though my fav SLB DeepVeer movie is RamLeela till now 😛

I felt it was mostly about Khilji. Ranveer had a lot of scope in the movie and he lived up to the expectations. Khilji was psychotic but I found him funny n humorous as well. I loved Khilji the most in the movie

Deepika was so graceful as Padmavati! I am in love with this lady. She definitely surpassed my expectations.

Shahid was not bad at all. At least I liked him. Though the movie belonged to Ranveer n Deepika, he made his mark. His acting was very dignified.

Jauhar scene n the dual between Ratan Khilji was the highlight.

Otherwise the movie was quite slow sply in the first half.

Story was ok to say the least. What I didn't like was Rajput's were over glorified n Khilji was shown as an evil. Everything was black n white, nothing was grey.

Shruthi di if u watch the movie then do give an analysis on the Jauhar scene.

Another thing I really loved was the romantic song Binte Dil

I never thought I will like this type of song

Arijit Singh's voice modulation is so outstanding for this song, sounds as if some Turkish singer was singing👍🏼❤️

N Ranveer's dance while sitting in the bath tub 👍🏼

@aditi I have loved all songs of padmavat and whatever I have seen in promo and the songs I can say deepika would have given performance of a lifetime. But my reservation is jauhar and ppl telling padmavati is inspiration. The dialogue rajput ki kangan ki taqat and jauhar in the end has kept me away from the movie though I will watch it if it comes on television. I am willing to watch it as a movie not as an inspiration or something that upholds Indian culture or sanskaar because all said and done suicide in any form is unacceptable to me as inspiration. By the way RKC is ending on Feb 20.

Yeah jauhar is after all a glorified suicide . That's why I wanted to hear ur views on that scene in particular. It can be a critical review as well.
