Cases of Mental health are on the rise globally. The issues need to be addressed because these days jobs are mentally straining rather than physical back in the day. We have an uncle who has taken his retirement early because he couldn't cope with his job. They were asking him to do more work than he could cope and he had to take sick leave and then eventually early retirement because even after sick leave he couldn't cope with the load of his job.

Chick - just a question for you. how is anami vowing again to teach her mother satrupa a lesson any different than before? Anami is as annoying she was with no brains. I watched 2 mins of it and I couldn't deal with her nonsense. Plus what have they done to Adhiraj? He looks old and ragged 😆

G

Adhiraj is in the prison it seems 😆 And word on Anami, she is quite dumb.

Mental illness is for real and its not just a lifestyle disease of the rich and famous, everyone and anyone can be plagued with it.

How are you doing?

Dey I am proud of you 👏

And its not just the symptoms, people dont even realise they may have a disorder

Dey so proud of you that you managed to convince and be there for your dear one. It's a big deal to be there through that journey of healing 😳

Benna Ji
The degree and extent depends on the portrayal too. Lets not forget Chandni, that was epic dumb but yielded nothing 😛 I want categorise but I agree with you that being dumb is perhaps a number sucker. 🤢

Thank you @ Ecri and Dreamer
We have a doctor in our family. That helped a lot.
. I know everyone will not have that option but things become much easier if it comes from a doctor. A doctor saying, ' You need help' means a lot.

Problem with such cases is that the close ones get so habituated with the abnormal behaviour of the patient that they do not find anything wrong in them. I was new and still didnt have any idea about her.I noticed what my husband and father in law didn't notice.I dont blame them.Incidents were too trivial for them anyways.

I have an aunt who also needs counseling but its not possible to help her. She will close the door on my face if I suggest her a psychiatric help. Badnaami hogi wo alag.😆 So, help is not always possible. I so wish there was a compulsive mental health test like we have general health check ups, dental check ups, eye check ups. Psychological counseling doesn't mean madness and madness doesn't mean electric shocks as our films or shows suggest.

You can only help those who wants help!! It's ignorance and the fear that's embedded in the minds of people because of the society movies and television shows too. Everytime the entertainment medium trivialises this issue and shows electric shocks and twisted incorrect information my blood boils 😡 Expecting a little bit of sensitivity effort and hard work is not an unfair demand right when these people set out to show such issues!!

Compulsive mental health check sounds fab.. but I am scared I would need help too 😭

I think we are all cynical in our own way. but yes, you need help from a doc is extremely imp.

Frankly we all have some level of issues with how fast paced and intense work family and life in general is!!having a good emotional support a sane voice to talk and hear us through go a long way in making life easy. I think it's fab to acknowledge that one needs help and talking it out 😃 if all of us take that step of openness and courage to step outside the set down norms we are one step closer to a healthy society

Oh , did I tell you how much I love you? 🤗

I agree that its fab to acknowledge that one needs help rather than being stubborn and shunning the notion.
