Seriously samay being in same room as client attorney was a bad idea, since we don't have any clue what's his job. If he's a psychiatrist (Bull alert) who's on their side to help the client ok but otherwise why? Or he can be since he was the one witness the entire incident?? Police is really bekar oof

I guess he was there only because of his connection to Saanjh. If it was any other lawyer, they wouldn't let Samay in that room esp since there is a possibility that Samay could end up witnessing against Ayaan.

Also, wasn't Samay really weird today? On one hand, he accuses Ayaan, and on the other hand he's tending to his wounds. Now if he was crazy in love with maya, wouldnt he be fuming and agitated? Why would he stick around putting marham on Ayaan's wounds?

I second this.

She probably meant that she's been working cases or studying on them. For a moment, I thought she meant she's been digging Maya's past up but then I thought the former has higher chances to be the case.

Arjun I don't know what he's doing but if he has really believed maya I conclude beyhadh is basically a poop series where two obsessed individual live in a house where one is obsessed with the other and the other is obsessed with fake stories and their characters soon after the stories are created and never before their creation.
