Finally watched the entire week's episodes of Mehak last night. Not sure where the story is headed but the episodes are entertaining. The cast is fun. The leads are unsure whether or not they are in love, they hate each other or are angry. But both are there to help each other at every turn. So in spite of everything, it is still my 'go to' serial on Hindi GEC. ⭐️

The 'Mama' appears out of the blue. Clearly, there is some issue with Shaurya getting married and the property. 😕

I think they are turning it into a social drama by tackling North Indian social issues plaguing the High class society and the middle classes with their show-off culture and excessive concern for society vs. own daughters and complete disregard to their spoilt sons who consider females as a property.😃

Heard about the leap and flip-flop of storyline of SV's show. At least it is amusing. Unlike the one-sentence storyline of DSDT. 🤢

Looks like DSDT is not doing too well on ratings. The other day they had promos of the serial airing on the radio in Delhi, several weeks after it has started telecasting. Somebody tell Rangeela that story and writing matter, not the faces of the leads. They did it in the past too and failed badly. But I bet SS is having a ball romancing two 'beautiful' females 😳, so what if the writing is miserable.

Shaurya marriage and property its already shown Mama company know this hence they try to stop Wedding

JNDSD flip flop story is fun to watch if one doesn't care about story because there are some good performances from most of the cast.Most of the characters are interesting too.

So I suspend logic when I watch JNDSD.

Mehek - will drag and drag.

Long time ago when Harsh Chhaya was about to enter I read another news article on Mehek which said Akshay Anand would be entering the show. Guess they changed the story line😕

Leaving the story aside it's nice to see how the leads jump upto rescue each other which is far more interesting and meaningful and since they also make a hot cute pair when they are together it becomes all the more watchable.

Nice to have something to watch @8pm😃

Smita Bansal's character resembles the title character from a film called *Serial Mom*😛

But I guess she is experimenting with her roles now. When I see her character now I can't remember lovely Sumi at all instead I see only this totally unhinged Suman.

Shaurya Khanna fell flat on his face yet again. Somebody should tell him that if keeps falling flat on his face so many times his face may become unrecognizable after some time owing to all the damage that his face/reputation has taken.But like his LADY LUB has said he is *Gadha Kahika*😆

Precap is interesting though.Mahek requesting Shaurya's help.Hopefully this will teach him that nobody becomes his/her lesser self by requesting for help.

DSDT - SS and Jasmin's characters are shaping out to be better characters than the wife😛

They seemed to have toned down the drama for now.

Was reading Sidney Sheldon's book Rage of Angels again after so many many years.

That book or the story still retains the same charm and appeal it did so many decades ago when I first read.His works are timeless.

His leading ladies are the best.He knew what appeals to *real women*

I was reading an old interview of his.Apparently his books were more popular among women.

Who says that women only like reading romance?😛

His books translate them onto screen so well.Wish they would adapt Rage of Angels or Sands of time for a TV show

This Fatmagul is it still airing on Zindagi?

I watched an episode or two.

It looked interesting.

With PS heading the creativity team I am sure the show will do well for the channel.

PS and Sidney Sheldon have a lot of similarities.In their stories women always come as strong and compassionate as well as emotional beings.

With PS heading the writing team I doubt his heroine would ever see happy times in her life

PS is one of the best writers we have but I don't trust him when it comes to giving his heroine some happy times😡

@Appy: Although the leads are inexperienced in Mehek, they are doing a good job. Much much better than starting episodes especially the female lead.

It is entertaining and chemistry toh 100% hai. 😳 I kind of now understand the chemistry in TV serials.😃 there are some reel couples I cringe at and some are adorable like MehRya.😳

Mehak is a total "big grin on the face" serial most of the times 😃.

Even when the story is going just about everywhere, the chilled out environment, the funny dialogues, the contrasting families of the leads, make for a very entertaining watch.😆

And all the characters have improved by leaps and bounds. Today Mehak was adorable while crying and one could almost hear Shaurya's mind working overtime when he heard about Mohit and Sonal. Wonder what is cooking. 😛
