My bua got married at 30.My dad nd tauji tried their level best to find groom fr her ..but something happenef always ..trust me the things my relatives startd saying ..

So in India there is NO perfect age fr marriage .It depends on community to community hell it depends from family to family..I m 24 but I am spared coz i have an elder brother ..

Bengali girls marry in 30's ..Punjabi too..so its nt very uncommon..
And parsis ..most of them dont even marry .their declining population rate is a major concern..Even PM commented on that .
I will be not surprised if these rumours are false and she will nt marry fr next 4-5 years .

forgot to.add it depends on economic status too.Recently attented a reception where girl was not more tha-16 -17 and guy was 25-27...
the girls side were poor and living in village and they were happy that their daughter is gonna live in a city

so when u find the right guy nd u think time is right ..just get hitched..No age is PERFECT

About marriage age ...yaar kabhi bhi karo ...just get a boy/ girl you are sure of and your parents are OK with ...then khichte raho ...3 year , 2 year , next year ...thats what i do!

shivi not every family is like yours .Love marriage is still a NO ...NO...

one of my cousinbro got married to a bengali .My uncle didnt met them untill my bhabhi gabe birth to grandchild.My uncle still sees my bhabhi more than mother of his GC rather than DIL...

and its not like my uncle is some illiterate man .He was GM in a reputed firm..

Well its not about education, its abt believes ... they believe marrying in other community brings shame ... thats stupid!

Arrange marriages scares me ...really! I mean its OK if your parents arrange it and you date for a year or 2 to see if things will work or not ...but just a single meeting and then marriage is rudiculous!

no its nt about shame.Its about how dare your children defied you..
everyone thinks their community is best ..so why go fr other community ..?
In my brother 's case he married the girl who is lower castw than us..So a brahmin boy marrying a low caste girl is...Ummm..

although my bhabhi is more educated than bro nd the time got married she was earning more than him...
although a son doing LM is phir bhi kinda exceptable ..But a daughter ...does that ..God...is near to a sin..Your next 7 generation will be taunted fr that ..

Even right now we r sometimes cld as family whose son married other community girl ..
