Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is rooting for a bright future for TV actor Mohit Malik, who is currently seen in dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8". The cinema icon says Mohit will make it big as a star.
The 63-year-old actor took to Twitter praising Mohit, who became a household name after he played the role of Bharat in "Banoo Main Teri Dulhann".
"I predict stardom for this actor Mohit Malik. You have all that you need to.#JhalakReloaded," Rishi tweeted.
Mohit also explored the negative arena of the small screen with his role of Samrat Singh Rathore in "Doli Armaano Ki".
Rishi, who is very upfront about expressing his ideas, is very active on social media platforms, where he freely shares his thoughts and opinions with his fans and well-wishers.
Rishi got in a Twitter spat with a user, who wrote: "@chintskap Fools like Rishi kapoor eat beef; have a mini church at home and then call themselves a Hindu and comment on Hindu Saints. Think!"
The "Bobby" actor retorted: "What I do, eat, drink or pray is none of your business."
Rishi, who has been vocal about eating beef in the past, then added: "There's a perception that I am anti-Hindu. Sad. I am a 'Proud' two time a day praying Hindu. But I respect other faiths too. I just say the truth."
In May, the Maharashtra government banned beef. The 63-year-old actor then landed in a soup after tweeting that he is a "beef eating Hindu".
"I am angry. Why do you equate food with religion?? I am a beef eating Hindu. Does that mean I am less God fearing than a non eater? Think!!," he tweeted back then.
Sony TV's one of the lovable historical shows Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap has gained immense popularity with intriguing storyline and amazing star cast.
Well the show is all set to have its prevalent face and character back on the show. Wondering who he is!
He is none other than the Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanumaan fame 'Nirbhay Wadha' who was loved as Hakim Khan in the show. Yes, the track of Hakim Khan will be introduced again in the Battle of Haldighatti, where he will die fighting for Pratap and helping him to escape alive from the Battle. Hakim Khan is known for his bravery and sacrifice that he showed during the battle so it would be incomplete without having him in the Battle.
Nirbhay Wadhwa on his re-entry elatedly says, "It feels good to be back on the same show which gave you the popularity. When I entered Pratap I had no idea that I will get such a big opportunity of playing a lead on Sony TV's another show Hanuman. so I will always be grateful to this show. Since my track has not started yet in Hanuman, the channel decided to bring me back on Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap for the epic Battle of Haldighatti. So I am glad to be back on the show."
Indeed a treat to viewers for watching the Bravery man 'Hakim Khan' back on the show!
From past few years there has been a new trend of getting mythological and historical based shows on small screens.
We have seen many popular actors being part of these projects portraying godly character. But can we see Madhubala' of small screen, Drashti Dhami who is currently seen in Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, playing lead in mytho shows?
Well, here is what Drashti has to say about it, "I will never do a mytho as language will be a big barrier. I would get sick and tired getting hold of those heavy words."
So does she enjoy wearing heavy costume and jewellery? "It's very hectic. If it is your marriage then its only for a day but for a show you have to wear it every day. It's fun for sometime but then it gets tiring."
Drashti is been well-appreciated for her look of Gayatri in ETRETR but what is the one thing that she loves the most about her look? "I think my hairdo and my makeup. I have realized one thing that simple makeup makes you look natural and stands out."
