New Delhi: Another case of domestic violence among television couples - TV actress Daljeet Kaur has revealed that her husband Shaleen tried to kill her.

TV celebs' life seems to be coming under public scrutiny and that too quite often these days. The latest one added to the list after Deepshikha Nagpal is Daljeet Kaur.

TV actress Daljit Kaur in a recent interview to a leading daily has opened about the shocking part of her troubled marriage. Daljeet for the very first time has revealed that her actor husband tried to kill her during one of their confrontations.

"On April 27 this year, a friend called me saying he had seen Shaleen kissing a girl under our building. When I confronted him, he grabbed me by my throat, pinned me against the wall and tried to strangle me," said Daljeet.

Daljeet's one of the friends has also spoken about Shaleen's violent behaviour, she said, "Shaleen is a very short-tempered guy and there have been incidences of physical abuse."

Daljeet and Shaleen made a happy couple during their stint on 'Nach Baliye 4'. Soon after winning the show, the couple had differences which lead Daljeet to leave the house with their one-year-old son to her parental home in Bengaluru.

Now Daljeet is bringing up her son alone and ready to take up any kind of work coming her in the industry.

So he is short-tempered and there had been many instances of domestic violence and yet she elected to lay down with him and create an innocent being who would eventually want a relationship with that vile man! I have no comment!

Why is she coming out now btw? Is it because she is in need of money hence why she is selling these stories? Or is she truly trying to set an example of do not accept abuse no matter who you are?

After Khoobsurat, Fawad Khan was to pair up again with Sonam Kapoor in Rhea Kapoor's film adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's Battle For Bittora. That seems set to change with Fawad dilly-dallying.

"Right after he was signed for the film, Fawad had expressed his concerns to the makers. He was apparently uncomfortable with a few intimate scenes in the script.

Both parties tried working it out, but now Fawad has decided that he doesn't want to be a part of the project," our source reveals.

After a few discussions, it has been decided that Farhan Akhtar who was paired with Sonam Kapoor in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag would be the perfect choice for the role. "People loved Farhan and Sonam's as a pair in the biopic. They arrived at a joint decision that Farhan would be ideal for the role. Rhea was very happy with the choice and currently they are finalising the deal with him. Official announcements will soon be made," our source says.

Anil Kapoor was a part of Excel Entertainment's Dil Dhadakne Do and now seems like Farhan is returning the favour by agreeing to be a part of Rhea's film. What's interesting is that Fawad was recently signed on by Reema Kagti for Excel's film Mr Chaalu and now, Farhan replaces the actor in Battle For Bittora.
