BTW,
It was very sad to know of the brutality which was unleashed in Peshawar against those innocent kids. :(
RIP.
My heart felt condolences for them.

Sindhu,
Death of Akbar is a confused chapter of history. He had some stomach ailment.
And he died of this.
That poisoning rumor is of around 1590 NOT 1605 when Akbar died..
I don't believe that Salim poisoned him and he died due to that.
There are many theories as far as this issue is concerned.
I don't want to write here and create more confusions. 😆

I agree they have good tracks and I do watch MP. Still I am not able to connect to any one or love anyone as much as Akdha aka Parijat. 😭

Radhika,
The actor playing the character of Akbar in MP is able to show that regal arrogance of a young Emperor. I like his expressions and the method of dialogue delivery. ALong with that the people who write the dialogues for that show clearly demarcate between the language of Mughals and the Rajputs. I mean, normal Hindi and some mixture of Persian type words.
But in JA every thing looks mixed. Initially it was fine, but later the line became blurred.
I agree about the pace bit, some times it gets really slow. But this(MP) show , they have planned for long. Soon, we may have 2 shows to discuss - Ashoka and MP. JA may not run for long. Already SA is about to start.

Thanks Rashmi. I am reading about him now and then.
By the way, i got to know something about him which i did not know before.
We know Akbar had his Navratans. Shivaji also had his AsthaPradhans.
Peshwa , Amatya , Sachiv , Mantri , Senapati , Sumant , Nyayadhish , Panditrao
He had a well developed administration system, demarcated the duties to these 8 people above. Till now, i knew only about the hereditary Peshwas. The other 7 were not known to me. Though, my knowledge about him is not much at the moment, but i found this 8-officer organization very interesting.
Please share more insights about him here. It will be fascinating to know more.
And, before both of them Chandragupta Vikramaditya had Navratans, around 1000 years back. Though i dont know much about him, but digging the lives of all these people is very interesting. :D

Rashmi,
Can you tell us more about Bajirao Mastani. ?
About this folk tale, there is one more thing i want to mention. 😊
In Rajasthan, there is a same tale about Rani Padmini. She was so fair that water could be seen going down through her throat , when she used to drink it . {This is a FOLK TALE, perhaps to signify her beauty.}
