Maharani Jaivanta Bai Songara kunwar Pratap's mother who was the biggest inspiration to him and who's principles and ideologies he followed all his life, was one of the important persons responsible for praja wedding. One look at ajabde after she arrives in chittor for the first time and the way her son was looking at her she realized that these two are deeply in love with each other, she was the one who made Pratap realize his true feelings for ajabde when he was confused and lost, inspite of the initial opposition from her husband rana udai Singh and rani dheerbai bhatiyani she tried her best to get these two souls together and finally after all the hurdles they did become one.

Hansa Bai mother of Ajabde was the first person who had dreamed of praja wedding. After seeing ajabdes mala in kunwar Pratap's neck in chakrapani's wedding and ajabde all lost in Pratap's thought she started dreaming about their wedding. When ajabde was refusing to accept her feelings for Pratap because of the difference in their social status, he being a prince of a big kingdom and she a normal Samant's daughter, it was hansabai who explained that she had all the qualities to be kunwar Pratap's wife and are they are truly made for each other.

Pandit Chakrapani Mishra kunwar Pratap's best friend who he met in guru raghuvendra's gurukul, was one of the biggest supporter of praja union, he always tried to get them together, when everyone had lost hope after Pandit ji's prediction that Pratap will die if gets married to ajabde first, chakrapani didnot give up it was him who had uncovered the truth behind this controversy and revealed it infront of everyone, he was a true friend of Pratap who put in all his efforts to get them together.

Saubhagyavati chakrapani's wife and ajabde's friend was another important contributor in praja wedding, she supported and helped her husband in finding the truth behind the fake kundali incident. It was saubhagyavati who convinced ajabde that neither she, nor Pratap and phool will be happy if Pratap marries phool, and because of her ajabde had agreed to confess her feelings to Pratap.

Rana udai Singh father of kunwar Pratap had initially opposed praja wedding because of the increasing threat of Akbar on rajputana, but later after the war with marwar And going to bijolia on the invitation of rao mamrakh ( ajabde's father), and seeing the unconditional and selfless love between Pratap and ajabde he decides to get them married.

Rajkumari phool kanwar rathore ajabde's best friend and princess of marwar, was in love with Pratap and was going to get married to him because of ajabde's efforts, but after knowing that Pratap loves ajabde she insulted and broke her friendship with ajabde, but because war broke out between mewar and marwar Pratap and phools wedding was called off, ajabde kept on sending letters to phool explaining her stand and finally phool realized that Pratap and ajabde are made for each other. When ajabde was not agreeing to marry Pratap because of phool , at that time phool came and convinced her to marry Pratap.
