Sony PAL, the new GEC from MSM, which went on air from 1 September 2014, as per sources, is all set to shut shop on 13 February 2015.

The channel launched with a bouquet of new shows but never managed to gain momentum in the TRP race.

Shows were pulled off air in a jiffy and since quite some time there have been speculations of the channel being pulled off air.

Now, the inevitable has finally happened and as per our credible sources, the channel will shut on 13 February.

The makers of current ongoing shows have been informed about the development and they have been asked to air their last episode on the above mentioned date.

When we buzzed channel head Anooj Kapoor, he said, "Currently, I am drafting a press release and you all will come to know about it tomorrow morning."

^It was expected. PAL's shows were Big crap. They only want to show Women's oriented shows widout any novelty. I'll not surprise if,I read same kind of info abt SONY in near future.

Actor Rajeev Khandelwal might return to television with producer Shrishti Arya's show. This marks his comeback to fiction seven years after his last show Left Right Left.

The actor catapulted to stardom as Sujal from Kahiin To Hoga and followed it with shows like Time Bomb 9/11 and Deal Ya No Deal. After trying his hand at Bollywood, he returned to the small screen to host Sach Ka Saamna in 2009, but steered clear of fiction. He, however, did a special appearance in Aamna's comeback show Hongey Judaa Na Hum in 2013.


Now, we hear Rajeev is in advanced talks with Shrishti for a finite show that is expected to last three months.


Says a source closely associated with the project, "The role Rajeev has been offered is that of a strongly opinionated person, who could go to any extent to get things done if he's fighting for a just cause. The show is expected to go on floors next month. While there have been several meetings between the two parties, Rajeev is yet to sign on the dotted line."

Both the actor and the producer didn't revert to our messages.
