Shocking: Celebrity Manager Santosh Gupta nabbed on rape charges

This morning we woke up to a shocking news.

As per newspaper reports, celebrity manager Santosh Gupta has been arrested in Lucknow on charges of rape.

Regional newspaper Aligarh Jagran reported that Santosh, who handles television celebs like Rithvik Dhanjani, Asha Negi, Rashami Desai, Mouni Roy, Karanvir Bohra, Ankita Sharma, Ashish Sharma, Gurmeet Choudhary among others, molested one of his female employees.

A resident of Aligarh, Santosh owns the event management company Pinnacle.

On the night of 31st January, Santosh along with the female employee travelled to Lucknow and checked in at Clark Awadh five star hotel in Lucknow.

Santosh apparently lured the girl promising lot of money and fame.

Post dinner, when the girl went to the washroom, Santosh spiked her aerated drink and raped her. He also threatened her of dire consequences on complaining to the cops.

Later, on 4 of February the girl mustered courage and called up women's helpline in Mumbai and registered a complaint.

Post that, cops nabbed Santosh from Lucknow who was there to attend an event.

Right now he is in police custody.

Dreamgirl' on Life Ok

Life Ok has confirmed the launch of its new show Dreamgirl', which will take the weekday 21:30 slot - replacing Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh'.

The show produced by Shashi-Sumeet Productions, will star Shraddha Arya and Mohsin Khan. The show is the sequel of Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki', which aired a couple of years ago. It is about a small town girl who moves into a rich household.

Dreamgirl' will launch on Monday 9th March 2015 at 21:30
