Even though critics and audiences have panned the show for its abusive content and filthy jokes, there are many others who have come in hordez to support this growing genre. It may be a new concept in India, but it's much enjoyed in the west. Here's our list of celebs, take a look:

Ronit Roy:

Considered one of the finest actors on the small screen, Ronit Roy, is equally popular in Bollywood. With his power-packed acting and dialogue delivery, it would be fun to see him getting roasted. Will his baritone waver with the insult? Or will he be a sport? It will remain to be seen how he would react under pressure, but considering his colourful career, he would play this role with elan too!

Ram Kapoor:

If 'weight' jokes make you cringe, wait till you see Ram getting roasted. He may be one of the most talented actors in the industry now, but he is on the wrong side of the scales...and doesn't seem to be letting go of his image any time soon. We are especially excited to see how he will react during the exchange of 'gaalis'. Considering how much he enjoys abusing on Roadies, will he love it as much when the tables turn?

Karan Singh Grover:

He is roast material, written in bold. With his colourful personal life, six-pack abs and crazy fan following, he will be an easy target for the roasters. Will the good looking lad play along or shy away from this scrutiny?

Drashti Dhami:

She shot to fame as the demure and beautiful Madhubala on the show of the same name. While she was appreciated for her acting skills, her hosting abilities on the popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa was criticised. Won't that make for a good roast? Of course it would!

Rannvijay Singh:

He is a Roadie veteran who knows how to take all the abused and manipulation. Will he be able to face the grilling session in front of so many people? If he decides to give it a shot, we would love to pull his leg about his choice of Bollywood movies, his love affairs and his bad hosting skills.

Divyanka Tripathi:

The pretty actress has been having a war in reel life with her husband's ex-wife. With such expertise at handling crazy situations, won't she be able to pull off filth with much poise? We believe so. And we want her to do so too.

Mohit Raina:

Mouni Roy:

It would be quite a coup to bring her on the stage and watch her get roasted. She might break into tears or smile nicely and become famous for her antics.

Kushal Tandon:

Much like his on-off girlfriend Gauahar, he also likes to play to the galleries. So it wouldn't come as a surprise if he volunteered to get roasted! His ability to cry at the drop of a hat and his anger issues are legendary. We can't wait to see his reaction when others grill him mercilessly.

Jennifer Winget:

She was married to Karan Singh Grover and there have been rumours of her dating Gautam Rode and director Kunal Kohli. We would love to see KSG and Jenny get roasted together (does that sound cheesy).
