But GOT definitely messes with its viewers moral compass. I was actually whooping for joy when a fifteen year old sociopath was poisoned and choked to death! And then I cheered for Dany when she had her big DRACARYS moment.

wolves are great but nothing beats flying on a dragon and incinerating everything. love the big black one.

the boy who played the pscyopathic king was an excellent actor. there are many great actors in that show i must say. i loved the scene when dany's brother gets a literally hot bubbling golden crown. the guy deserved it for what he did.

but totally agree, it shows how morally bent a compass can be. is it finished yet? who got the iron throne? read somewhere it was jon snow or someone who was a child of both fire and ice. didn't watch much episodes because of its disturbing nature sorry.

I think Jassi came first. Another great show that was ruined when Jassi had her make-over all due to - wouldn't you know it - pleasing her romantic interest. In other words PH were wooing TRP aunties.

they don't have to be. i like their uniqueness. they just have to be more realistic and less prone to the fan's demands. fans will still watch it if they really want to regardless of TRP. I think a new forward thinking channel is needed. forget nayi soch but actually a channel willing to commit to action. if it does it properly it will get critical acclaim and fans guaranteed. a doordarshan reborn kind of thing. it is possible but as every revolution has shown you need someone willing to take that step. people will follow when they realise the benefit and you will have actors wanting to associate with a channel that utilises their talent as they must be upset with some of the stuff they have to do.

My fav Indian soaps were Hum Paanch, Amanet and Aarshiwad.

saw an episode of hum paanch recently on lamhe which is free and showing all the old shows. it was when the girls were trying to launch a new CD with the singer being a don. it was funny and different. refreshing from saas bahu business. it can be done.

i think crime patrol is the only sensible show

Nah GOT hasn't finshed yet. It's based on ASOFAI a book series and the author hasn't finished yet. There's probably at least four more seasons left if not more.

I've read the books and they only get more disturbing so if the first few seasons upset you don't even bother to watch the rest as it will truly only get worse.

Oh Lord! I only watched it to figure out why it was creating such havoc on youtube with so many fans and stuff. After seeing I thougt; ah this is not my cup of tea. 4 more seasons! Well they're short so probably not a problem for fans I guess. Trust me I'm not going back. I'm already worried about the human condition. It keeps me awake at night sometimes that seeing what could happen in a parallel world truly disturbs me. *shivers.

Lol Arya if you don't like GOT make sure never ever watch Walking Dead. I've nearly finished watching season one and boy is it gory! The storyline is picking up though and I think I can spot certain characters whose development arcs will be a treat to witness. I do recommend you watch the show Suits though. It's really fast-paced, witty and entertaining. In fact I think if they can do a desi version of it they should with Simone cast in the role of Jessica Pearson.

suits? i am not sure i have heard that one. is it a law drama? i love law dramas. although i am not happy with grey detectives. i always wonder why there never is a straight cop. i also like that funny cop one but i forgot the name something nine nine i think. that was hilarious. maybe i just want the world to be a happy place.
