Just last night on Savdhaan India they showed a similar case, the young girl was being molested by her Mama (maternal uncle), she complained to her mother but mom didnt do anything as it was her brother (a cousin brother)...end result was the creep finally tried to rape the girl and the girl's younger brother was killed by the creep when he tried to save his sister. Finally the mom opened her mouth after her son was murdered by her so called brother.
so it took losing one child (a boy) to speak up about the other child (a girl). interesting. that was not even her real brother!
