Ya.. I know I just thought about that serial too.. I don't remember much though. I should try rewatching it I think.

I am reading this book called Chankya's Chant, alternating chapters of olden days Chankya and present days Chankya. Seems total Rajneeti.. My husband loved the book.

Those days, there was not much technology, special effects and stuff...but the way that serial was made is just top class ⭐️

and not to forget the actor playing Chanakya...he was just superb !

In my childhood then, I totally associated Chanakya with that man only...even now, whenever I see the name mentioned, his face automatically comes in my mind 😆

Asoka - is it being played by Shaher Sheik?

SRK's Asoka - looked beautiful on the screen

Apparently Karuvaki did exist she is from Kaling.

SRK's movie was a big disappointment for me because I wanted to see the transformation of Asoka in great detail but he showed all the things that shaped Asoka from the time he was born till the war of Kalinga in great detail and Everything from war of Kalinga onwards was rushed.

SRK's Asoka got thourougly distracted by beautiful Karubaki😛
