P, you're starting hostel in a week? I don't know why that kinda excites me to no end. Maybe 'cuz I've never been to one? It must really be fun, nahin? Oh, wait. You're yet to find that out. If you're a greedyguts or glutton like me or Aman, I pray you get lip-smacking food from the canteen of your hostel. If you're a plain eater, I still pray you get food that tastes like Khushi k haath ka khana! đ
And Mathur, don't we just love Ghazals. They're a common Favourite in my family and my husband's family. In fact my father in law is an awesome singer, ya know. I've been told he used to have all of the sur/taal/raag delivery perfectly without breathing issues when he was young, I mean when my Husband and SILS and BIL were young. And kaagaz ki kashti is defo one of the favourites. đ
We used to do it too. Being in a joint family, all the cousins including me who'd recently learnt boat-making in our Arts n Crafts class used to be very excited to put our learning to good use and boast it to the elders of our family. We'd sail those then in our Aangan with whatever little puddle was manageable in those baarishes! And also do it on the roadsides, where there's water flowing on the sides because of the continuous baarish. We'd let our boats out there and peep from our Deewankhana, the gloriously sailing hand made boats, with unconcealed pride. đ Aah, what fun it was and what good old days those were! đ
