That very day, rain had different plans. As soon as we were allowed to play, the downpour turned to an annoying drizzle spoiling the real fun and excitement. I remember the trio(me and two cousins) stood in the sehan, with our eyes closed, hands stretched in dua, praying to the Almighty for a heavy but safe pour. It rained so much that we couldn't walk without our ankles completely dipping in the pool collected in the sehan. You can imagine our joy. We were ecstatic. We all started playing, there were around 10 or more of us, I think. Then soon rain stopped, the water all drained. Tired out, everyone started to go back to their rooms. I remember I was still a greedy fool to loiter in the Aangan. I wanted to call the other two who were close to my age and hence me, to play a li'l more. As I ran toward one of their rooms, I felt something in my head( I tell you that's the weirdest I've felt in my entire life, like something's gonna happen) and I fell. I remember a tiny sway of my body before I crashed at the porch of my Chachi's room. And all went blank. My Chachi came out to see me fainted. Picked me up and applied sugar to a slight opening in my skull as first aid. Very slight. I was still dizzy and you know what's the craziest part? I'd my half yearly exam the next day. I was done with two and the following was the 3rd paper. Now you know why Mum and Amani were so reluctant to let me do my will. I wasn't too young either, it was Class VII so she trusted my immune system I guess and let us play. Where was I? Yea, my Mum rushed to me, worried and concerned like hell and she regretted allowing me in the first place. I didn't even need any stitches but Moms are like that, yea? A tiny scratch and all hell breaks loose. In comes my sister while I was being applied antiseptic then by Mum. All three with me in the room. I asked them if the cut was deep and I was told it was a minor, my Chachi whispered to Dee to not say anything since it might freak me out. I heard that and they don't know to this date. :D I made a mental note after I gained proper Hosh : to not whisper if people are drowsy or dizzy, they can hear and hear all too well. 😆

I asked Dee if I was behosh for a longer time.. Chachi assured me as soon as she heard a thud, she'd come and picked me up. I was like, 'Yea, okay..' Dee sensed something out of the place perhaps so she asked, 'You did prepare for tomorrow's exam, yea?' And I was like 'Kya, exam?' She wore a worried expression as she asked louder this time.. 'Our Half Yearly Exams..?' Vaguely remembering I had exams, I replied after a while, 'Haan.. I've prepared.' She wasn't too sure because of the delayed response and queried, kaunsa exam hai and I was like 'Urdu?' She freaked out, losing it totally. Shaking me, she asked, Sarah ma, don't you remember what exam you've tomorrow? And then as the haze cleared, I remembered I had Telugu which I'd thoroughly prepared for and looked at her annoyed. Only to see her wearing a shocked and tensed look. I was pissed. I told her this wasn't a serial where I'd lose my yaad-daasht after falling. She exhaled and said, your reactions didn't really help! All broke into laughter. 😆

Those were the times when Mihir had lost his memory and all the Ekta dramas were filled with such utter crap of memory losses! We laugh to this day reminiscing the incident! Bored y'all, didn't I?

And oh, is it? Your dad sang to woo your mum, then? So adorable! Touchwood, again! 😛
