The title of your film SHOULD BE BAND BAAJA BAARAAT'.

You have to make

• Your Film's Poster
• Your film's Trailer
• Your film's Plot

Please read everything carefully.

STEP 1: Decide a genre for your film from this list.

• Romantic Comedy
• Romantic drama
• Comedy
• Suspense thriller
• Thriller
• Tragedy

STEP 2: Choose your characters.

• It is compulsory to include Sanyukta, Randhir and Parth in your film.
• You are allowed to include any other characters from the show.
• The characteristic traits of all the characters used from the show should remain same. For eg. Randhir is an MCP with an attitude. You cannot make him a sweet romantic hero.
• You can change the setting of the show. You can change their ages, the environment they live in. Basically you are allowed to change everything except their characteristic traits.
• You can introduce a maximum of 4 new characters in your film.

STEP 3: Form your film's plot.

• Plot means the film's story in short. You have to write your plot in less than 1500 words.

This is how a plot is written.

• IT IS NOT A ONE SHOT. You don't have to explain each scene. It's like you're telling your friend what happened in the film.
• DO NOT COPY the plot from anywhere. 200 points will be deducted from your team's current score if you copy any sub-plot or the whole plot.
• Keep in mind that the title of your film is Band Baaja Baaraat'. So the plot you have written must go with the title.
• Your plot should not be remotely closer to the actual Bollywood Movie Band Baaja Baaraat'. YOU HAVE TO CREATE YOUR OWN FILM.
• The language in which you'll submit the plot has to be English.
• The quality of writing should be good. It carries Marks.

STEP 4: Choose a tagline for your film

• The tagline should be creative and original.
• Try to capture the essence of the film in that tagline
• Example: Film- 2 States ( Tagline: The Story of My Marriage)

STEP 5: Selection of Songs

• Bollywood movies are incomplete and stale without songs. In order to make your film entertaining, you need to include songs as well.
• You can insert a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 Bollywood songs in your film.
• You CANNOT USE more than 1 song from the same movie.
• Your song selections play a very important role. Do not hastily insert songs wher they are not needed.
• This is how you have to insert songs in your plots while sending me the final output.

Example: a). X saw Y in the ring ceremony. Tears welled up in X's eyes as he saw Y with someone else. ( Song in the background: Tu Jaane Na)

b). X and Y enter the party. (Song Sequence in the party: Party All Night)

Step 6: Create your Film's Poster

• Size of the poster should be 400 * 600.
• You can use both onscreen and off screen pictures.
• You can include the new characters that you included in the plot if you want. But you need to mention which actor you are choosing for which role. The particular actor HAS TO BE a television actor, not a Bollywood hero.
• This is not A SIGNATURE MAKING CONTEST. It is a POSTER. Use minimal pictures.
• It should contain the title Band Baaja Baaraat', the film's tagline and other required details.

• The video shouldn't exceed 1 minute 30 seconds.
• If you want to use songs in the teaser/trailer, you can only use the songs used in your plot.
• You can use any back ground score [ Back ground score refers to the music/sounds playing in the video along with what is happening in the video] You have to mention the source of the back ground score.
• You are allowed to use both onscreen and offscreen videos/pictures.
• The video has to be uploaded on Youtube as a private video and the link should only be given to me and /or your team members via PM. Do NOT post it anywhere else on the forum.

Points To Remember

• Captains have a crucial role in this task. You can divide the team into 3 groups assigning a task to each so that everyone gets to participate. Otherwise you won't be able to complete your task on time.
• REMEMBER. TEAM EFFORT is the key. Do not be overconfident and assume that you can manage all the work on your own. IT IS A TEAM GAME.
• 16 members are a lot! And you'll be given plenty of time. I am expecting good quality of work.
