Yep, Colors definitely needs to increase the number of shows on air ... BV and Uttaran are running out of steam in terms of story, but because they have the better trps, they can't be pulled off till at least some of the newer shows take off more strongly. Like I said, some viewing just becomes a habit ... Colors needs to stick with both BI and RR for long enough that the shows become a habit for viewers. it would help if YRKKH and QH would get pulled off 😛 ... if there were new shows on the other slots, then people might tune in here ... but even YRK and QH have become habitual watching so as long as those shows have some modicum of story, their viewers will keep tuning in.
I feel either a show has to grab eyeballs in the first few weeks ... like say EHT and before that, IPK did ... because they were truly different ... or they build up slowly and steadily with steady story telling ... like DABH and YRK did. RR should have been the former, because it was another truly different show ... and when that didn't happen, it threw the makers on the back foot. Let's hope they can get back to their story the way they had planned it ... and make it the second type.
