Decided to hold on to Ami's fact (EK shows) and Bella's belief (RG's reputation) that there might be a possibility of turn around. Since the execution has improved, I am hoping that they will continue on this path. Hopefully they are not shooting in the dark and have a game plan in mind going forward.

Bahnni, I am unable to place my finger on the exact cause but when I compare the trauma post unwedding to the one post this incident, the one during unwedding was more heart wrenching. DD is a fantastic and consistent actress such that you don't find a single expression given wrong in a situation. But here the execution has been a tad bit lacking. Or maybe, she had gone so numb at that time and was led by RK or Paddy, whereas this time around, she is taking charge and doing things on her own. Or maybe, there was more time and space devoted to her trauma than this time around. Or, the reason you state is the missing piece of the puzzle.

good recall!! i've to say too that DD's reaction as the jilted lover/wife was more impactful than JM's...but if the reason behind JM's unsatisfactory reaction is to show that she prefers tackling situations head on as a modern/educated woman should then I can relate to it.Having said that,JM's attitude does oscillate between two extremes...she needs to find a middle ground and stick to it.

Having said that, I wish the CVs had taken another route. Not only them, the channel is just at fault for allowing this to be shown since I read a few weeks ago that in BV, Shiv was wrongfully accused of rape as well. I am sure he was absolved. The story is gaining coherency and the execution has become so much better that events have started to make sense. Just when things were starting to take shape, this turn of events has been most unfortunate. No doubt, this is a huge risk but I hope this gamble pays off.

what are ur thoughts on Madhu falsely alleging rape to get rid of Raja once and for all?? there's a bet in place to support her action. I find it equally revolting on one hand and on the other I understand her need to resort to desperate measures to effectively remove Raja(who has been physically abusive towards her in the past)from her life.

Wrt FIFA, I go with the flow coz USA team sucks big time and India never qualifies . So, I just enjoy the matches without rooting for any team in particular till they get to the quarter or semi-final stage. Which teams are you and Ami rooting for?

And yes Tuger Shroff's debut is a legit hit..havent seen it to know how good or bad the verdict is but as it stands, apart from Hrithik and Tusshar Kapoor, he is one of the few guys to have a hit on debut in past 15-20 years 😆


I dont remember which Ekta shows showed it, as in I dont remmber the names..one of them had Eijaz Khan and Hiten Tejwani I believe and another 2 showed it two..then there were rape attempts in Kutumb..but Pratham lays off at the last moment and kutumb was very famous at it times..my mum has stopped watching the former two immediately so I dont have much recollection of them..there was a rape in KZK too..but the rape was done by KVB's character (Prem's) bestie (KSG) who was married to his sister (jennifer winget)..Prem had helped him rape his pretend girlfriend (she loved him..he was pretending)..I dunno what the outcome of this scenario was except that eventually KSG was punished.

The part I have a gripe with and majorly so is everyone brushing it under the carpet of Raja's ubringing and hence it being understandable..isnt that probably the case with most such crimes...that the rapist feel as if they have a supreme right on anytging and anyone they want..so why do we exhibit so much disgust for them (its obviously the right reaction) and always viewing it under the jaundiced eye of Rani having rejected Raja's love and not having worked for the trying to make the marriage work..she was made to marry a retarded man whom she came to care about..but she couldnt bring herself to care for the hooligan he became once cured and his family..doesnt want to stay married to him or try and work the marriage..and she is not obliged to.. She has seen him kill someone albeit as punishment, seen animalistic behaviour from him and his family..i have read several posts where people are irritated with her calling him jungli janwar..but thats exactly how he is behaving isnt he..if it was another character but the lead..many who have objections at him being called jungli would be calling him exactly that..

Sultan was hated for being a a gangster..but that guy used to respect women till his character sketch took a 360 degree turn..AK was hated for being interested in a girl 20 years his junior but he was a decent man per se before he was turned negative over night too and yet every excuse in the book is being made for Raja by some...I am prety sure he will be redeemed or proven innocent some way or other by putti.g the blame on Bhanu since this is show
but if counted against one individual..isnt his crime probably worse of the lot..
yes leads have falled in love with the rapist after being raped ( EK shows) but really is it as easy as its shown??
