Last time, SM spoke up when RK demeaned Paddy and this time JM spoke up when her Dida was demeaned by Raja. Last time, SM sent RK to jail and that kick started their love story. This time JM is sending him to jail which might be a turning point in their relationship too. There was a bet placed again today between Raja and JM. JM challenged Raja that she would make life so difficult for Raja's family that he would leave her to her family's house in 30 days. She broke barriers today by messing with the steering wheel when Raja was driving, by asking him to give her methods of "maarna" instead of "marney" (i.e. kill herself) and by bbb'ing Agni big time and going so far as to hold her hand as Agni was abt to hit her. The Agni-JM scene was well executed and even though JM spoke up, she was right in bbb'ing Agni.

does she put him in jail wrongfully in name of bet?
As for SM.. I liked the intial character sketch but thats about it.then she was mute for most part of it post Sullu entry/her half revenge unless she mouthed sab theek ho jayega

The episode has not aired yet and I have not seen any post yet on the reasons...will update when the episode airs today or tmrw. Agree with you abt the chr. inconsistency of SM.

Not that I expect Shulkaji/Nautanki/tv serials to be sensitive to real life but yeah I personally feel such things can be avpided unless ypu plan to show something good and not just fill in episodes

Is it necessary to go this route is my ? too. Raja is nowhere near RK and JM is nowhere near SM. This is the same show that projected its female lead as "manhoos" and failed big time in executing that turnaround. I feel the channel's dictates in bringing this aspect in the show but will they live up to its turnaround? I want it to be just as spectacular as the disgust they are building up right now.

its going to be a tough order to make the turnaround as spectacular as disgust they are building up..not something lazy writing can do...

No, that aspect might have been put on the back burner for now. Madhu won't ? Dida coz of her health and the fact that she has taken an instant liking to Raja. Bji's reaction was equally inconsistent. On one hand, he was shown talking to the RM pic that he failed in taking care of their daughter and in the next instant he is washing his hands off of JM by telling her not to address him as Mama Chacha. He did not even ask her why she did what she did. No justifications asked but sentence issued. So many hints are dropped for JM for her parentage but she is shown to gloss them over. But I suspect this is to build drama and such issues will be handled separately in a later track.

Thank u for posting these..an interesting read (ofcourse discounting all those obviously snide remarks and not so subtle digs by repeat offenders atleast in my book whose opinions I always take with a pinch of salt 😆) about JM esp after a stroll in the forum which manages to suprise me and not in a good way almost everytime I visit there. I must love inflicting bad mood on myself to do it again and again..all signs of addiction..wats this new funda of VD deserving a new heroine (read Sukriti) coz DD looks old and Rani doesnt deserve Raja 😆 I read quite a few posts by several posters to that effect a few who claim to be DVD fans 😆

I have not finished reading the entire posts but agree with P's thots, chr. inconsistency notwithstanding. Will read the post u mention. The new funda is in response to VD fans probably not liking his chr. running behind JM telling her again and again hum tumse bahut pyar kartey hain and she responding with junglee/janwar taunts.

DD is def elder to VD but doesnt really look older as such IMHO..in fact one of the plus points about the two I feel is that they look good together..her daintiness a fitting contrast to his tall structure

another intersting thing I noticed...people who had no problem with Madhu forgiving RK and professing her love and who were opposed to anyother hero entering her life have a problem with Raja doing so and are demanding a new heroine and aare suddenly liking/praising SM 😆

All this MB tall had me reminiscing the time I used to love the show and RM..I wonder how twisted Tewari and Gautam Hegde actually gave such a beautiful story (pre revenge) and a few days post too..till RK became a frankenstein's monster..the way RM spoke and communicated instead of just fight and the way their relation evolved was one of the best depiction 😳

Those were the golden days and is probably the reason for my addiction to this date...maybe I do get a glimpse here and there of the past and makes me wonder abt what could have been. Not holding out much hope but what they are showing now appears a whole lot interesting than last year and AK track. Maybe, just maybe coherency will make a comeback. We seem to be on the path.

Ami, you don't need to be sorry coz u r not over-reacting. The thoughts were beyond words and left me speechless and aghast too. Expressing acceptance of rape even for a fictional character is not acceptable, period, paragraph, end of story. No wonder then that the post was locked down.

Sometimes, I have wondered at the age group of the members on I-F. Are they really old or mature enuf to understand? I could say a whole lot more on this topic but sometimes its not worth my time.
