We are in a country were rape is a very serious issue at this time. It is not something to be taken very casually even if its fiction. Let's say Raja was drugged that night. Even though I have never heard of a date rape drug that could make someone rape. They are usually used to make the victim unconscious so she cannot resist the rapist. Even he was drunk or angry if once moral conscious is firm there is no way excess alcohol, anger, or manipulation can make someone do something so heinous that it is against their moral conscious. In order to rape the mentality has to be engraved in your mind first, which Raja proved today after his line, "Jab patni se kiya pyar toh kaisa hua bhalatkar."
Regardless of whether or not Raja is at fault or Bhanu we need to seriously consider the fact that Baby Bala has been traumatized for life. From what I have read or heard from friends' people can never come back the same from such experiences. What is also apparent is that Madhu remembers Raja as the face for this traumatizing experience even if he changes later (as the spoiler suggest) on he can never take what he has done to her back. She has been scarred for life and Raja image is engraved in her mind for it. Showing romance after this would underplay the trauma any rape victim goes through. Rape victims try to stay the furthest away from anything that reminds them of that experience. And any type of romantic connection between Madhu and Raja will down play what a traumatizing experience rape can be. I seriously hope that the CVs would consider how pathetic for a lack of a better term a love story would look after this and what type of message it would actually send to young girls and boys watching the show. Rape is a serious issue and its not something to romanticize or take casually at this point.
