I am going to steer clear from the 2nd and 3rd thread
The discussions in the 1st one are more to my taste..I dunno the nitty gritty details but I tend to agree witb the tm there..the other two, too polarising and judgemental IMHO
and while I dont think murders should be set free coz their kin would suffer, i dont agreed with killing them with your own hand either unless in self defense..it sounds brutual
I dont agree to the comparisions with Padmini killing Balraj ( such a villian he was) or RK killing Sultan coz in both their cases they did it to save someone/themselves from them..
Raja on the other hand seems to be plain violent and doesnt mind murdering in cold blood in name of revengeVery true, Raja comes from a violent background where the Kushwa family as a power family in their village are the judge, jury and executioners. Raja has been raised since the age of 12, when his parents died, amongst guns and violence. Wrt AK, I did not feel bad or blamed Raja coz whatever happened was in self-defense. Prior to AK dying, he had got Raja walking on the parapet of his terrace claiming that a jump would establish Raja as a superhero. This was when AK knew Raja was mentally challenged. He followed up with giving Raja an overdose of medicines and then withholding them (not seen this episode). In another instance, he threw Raja into the pool when he did not know how to swim. Next, AK arranged for Raja to be sent to the mental hospital and when he managed to escape, hit Raja with a truck with an intention to kill. When Raja showed up normal during KC night, he brought out his gun to shoot him. As Raja said to AK's chachi, this cycle would have continued till one between them would have died. Even with all the past instances, technically Raja set the stage for AK's departure and his destiny betrayed him, whereas Raja with so attempts against him managed to survive. If RK and Paddy's effort is termed self-defense coz both Sultan and Balraj resisted, Raja setting the stage only in absence of a fight from AK is wrong, how?The second instance is in the village track where Raja managed to unearth the main culprit who killed his innocent parents and Dauji's son, Veer. Originally, the trap was set to kill Bhanu but apparently 3 innocent people lost their lives instead. Moreover, the person who carried out the deed is according to Dauji's dialogue a drug dealer (hafim ka vyapari). Raja brought him into the haveli, beat him up but ordered his henchman to take this drug dealer to the river and finish him off. Once again, no resistance from the guy who is about to meet his end. Now, my dilemma is that if I did not consider Aamir Khan in Ghajni a murderer / killer, why should I consider Raja one now? I can rattle off more examples but majority of the time, I have seen bw heroes kill the bad guys in order to show that good triumphs over evil.as for the slap..if it was intentional, the third post becomes null and simply appears as justification to make Raja appear in better light just like that post's TM view in another thread that Raja is not a killer..whatever be the cause but he is a def a murdererExperienced an unease abt the slap that it could have been avoided but I guess the CVs might have had a bigger purpose in mind, that is to build up a reason for the move to Mumbai. The slap might have set Raja thinking and today's incident of JM getting shot cemented his reasons to move to Mumbai.
BTW I sense a divide in the forum again..Raja vs Rani...milder than RK vs MB ever was but a divide none the lessVery true...😆. Instead of the regular rich guy - poor girl scenario or the office boss male lead - assistant female lead, the CVs are highlighting the difference between 2 different backgrounds and ideologies.
Enjoy the trip Anita...see You laterThanx...made it back😃
PS: I came across another thread in Chal club forum with a very similar name...only with a couple of words added...was almost going to post there but realised at last minute

Sid Shukla looks way better than Varun and I guess thats how its meant to be..
it would be pretty cool if he got a decent role and its not snipped...
he is conitnuing with BV too right?I believe so if the 2 ivs that I have read are any indication. If he is not the hero in bw, makes sense that he will continue with BV unlike Sushant.
@MB: ...
To cut a long story short..for me it seems to be circumstantial
look at me discussing MB as if I follow it..its been more than a year since I stopped watching and months since i stopped Reading WUHave discussed this with some others too and am unable to convince myself why I am not viewing it as others are. I seem to be absolving Raja and not holding him as much responsible as others are, so I dragged u into it...😆
@did u start any of the two ..GOT or OB..lemme mnow your views if you doNot yet but the website you gave me a link to requires a download but somehow does not play. I am now subscribing to HBO, which produced GOT, so I have to check around and see which will be a better option of the two.
oh and the surprise suprise...xpose is a hit 😆Wonders never cease, do they?
