@Godzilla - Unfortunately, no idea.

@Awards - Now that you say it, it would be hard to believe that people vote for DS online.

@ JA movie - what a movie by AG? He's not been able to give a good follow up since then. Did you not like HR in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara?

@DS: but must say she is really lucky..she actually gets to do something diff and yet get trps..not many get both together

@Zindagi Na milegi Dobara: i thought I would like him but surprisingly I didnt..he looked good as ushal but often went OTT IMO...I liked Farhan/Abhay Deol more

JA had a completely diff charm to it..they looked amazing together..Gowariker is making another movie with Hrithik..set in Mohenjodaro..hopefully its half as good as JA..
And speaking of Aish : heard she is coming back in movies too

edit: mario meets bollywood http://m.youtube.com/?#/watch?v=eN9XX-dd0LQ

Have not seen any episode of DABH but have read plenty that it is fairly regressive. In fact have been warned that SP shows are fairly regressive and DABH takes the cake in this respect. How is DS doing something different coz isn't this typical saas-bahu tussle show?

I like HR but after JA, I think he was good in ZNMD. Other than these two movies, can't recollect if he has stood out for me in any other movie.

I was hooked on to the movie JA from the very first battleground scene but I was entertained by HR-AR jodi in Dhoom 2 as well, though acting wise, no great shakes.

Gowariker is making another movie with Hrithik..set in Mohenjodaro..hopefully its half as good as
JA..

Really...where is the shooting taking place and when will it release?

Yeah, I read that too somewhere that a director was quoted as saying that she is starring in his movie but no official word from her I guess

Will try to watch this later at home

The one actor who is fast turning out disappointing in terms of movies for me is Aamir Khan. After Fanaa, Ghajni, 3 Idiots, have not enjoyed him in Talaash and Dhoom 3. Talaash was more of a personal experience type of movie and Dhoom 3 was highly illogical. He acted well but unfortunately I did not enjoy either of the movies though read that Dhoom 3 did extremely well in box office collections.

Edit - Did you watch the puppet dance in RR? I was really expecting something good but it fell flat for me.

Dabh is regressive..or rather used to be..its pretty alright now..and DS gets to play IAS officer ( I think) and they actually showed the whole training and she did most of the stuff on her own..now she is shown going to work and solving cases along with managing home..they stuck to the theme of the show..so for all regressiveness in past I do think that its diff

@new gowariker movie: its still in planning stages..jo idea abt where the shooting takes place and who is the heroine

@Ash: she confirmed doing a mani ratnam and another movie

@Aamir: yep..D3 was soo disappointing..and then his offscreen antics..he is too concerned abt records to do good movies

@RR: havent seen since 2-3 weeks except a couple of epi.i just read WU occasionally and discussion posts in forum..frkm the WU it seemed might disappointing..the pupet dance..it turned weird by the end and its as if Paro is stuck in a limbo and doesnt know what she wants..to leave him or for him to love her

hello ami & anita...😊

can't seem to catch a breath these days!! am so drained 😔

firstly...ami I watched Godzilla last wknd...a monster movie interspersed with lengthy & forced human drama kind of ruined it for me...but a big round of applause to the cinematographer, felt I was watching the movie through *instagram* tinted glasses 😆

ok i'm not ashamed to admit that i'm loving the dehatipan in MB 😉...VD is going a good job emoting the rustic passion 😳 but someone needs to fire DD's stylist pronto!

BTW did u know that Himmesh's God awful movie has already minted Rs 9 crores at the BO...😲😲😲...WTH??!!!🤢🤢🤢

anything exciting happening elsewhere??

all happy with the election results?

Would you believe it that inspite of sharing this review with hubby, he still insisted on seeing the movie in a theater thinking how could Aamir Khan movie be bad? Boy, was I disappointed or was I disappointed? He, on the other hand, not as much as me...😕

Awww...I know the feeling

IKR...dehatipan with comedy is entertaining. Giant strides have been made wrt DD's look but don't think her complete makeover will happen until they go back to Mumbai coz can't see it happening in a village track or can it? Am really appreciative that her repulsive suits, tight braided hair and lack of make-up has been done away with. Am waiting for the glasses to go now.

BTW did u know that Himmesh's God awful movie has already minted Rs 9 crores at the BO...😲😲😲...WTH??!!!🤢🤢🤢

OMG...😲

anything exciting happening elsewhere??

Not in my world...

all happy with the election results?

Ami, care to address this one?

D3 was a poor hindi remake of The Prestige...I spotted the twist a mile ahead and lost interest completely!!🥱...and why was AK tap dancing???he should let some things be...his pathetic attempt to be different may have caused Gene Kelly to shudder in his grave!🤢

hola Bahnni

I ditched godzilla and ended up going for hawa hawai..nice watch..typical underdog fighting all odd to fulfill his dreams movie but it was good..esp the kids..one of them.named gochi was the star
and it had saqib saleem..so i was sold 😳 😆

You and Anita seem to be enjoying MB..cool

@Himmesh: spurred by the success of expose he plans to make sequel and act in one movie per year 🤣

Anita: vigil idiot writes kick ass reviews..i make a point to read them..the one of youngistand and heartless (i had no idea there ws movie like that) were amazing

D3: was a mix of prestige in case of story and dark night type of chases..except they were made ridiculous..and to top it all Aamir was at his worst.
next he is doing PK with the man who made 3 idiots..so ppl will have high hopes

@election: Bahnni,I am hopeful and sceptical in equal measures..I mean it cant get worse than the pathetoc state congress has brought us to in past 10 years..one good thing is absolute majority and washing out of SP, Karunanidhi, Mayawati, Lalu prasad etc..atleast they dont get to hold govt on ransom in name of coalition
and the decimation of gandhi dynasty..sad part Priyank with that leech husband of hers will now gain prominence. congress cant seem to loom beyond Nehru-Gandhis
wats ur take on Mamta Banerjee..I am told she is like classic example of Frankeinstein monster story... thought to be saviour from Left but has probably become a bigger problem
