For a second time she refuses his help to stand up (first being the store room) much to his chagrin. She accepts it only after the Rangoli mess and the setting leading up to it displayed the first signs of their yearning for one another without even realizing, that is a topic for another day and shall wait for that episode to air 😃

@Bold:- Savs, I think one point I always felt glaring in the later part of the story is the importance of pheras. Khushi pretty much should have known that her marriage to Arnav has been incomplete since the beginning because they didn't take any pheras and now if I see the initial episodes, it is very clear that she knows things in and out regarding marriage and its rituals. So I really felt it was a big blooper on the creatives part to get in the 'Faraq padtha hai dammit' track along with the pheras talk of Khushi. They could have gotten the Faraq padtha hai dammit in so many other ways.

And Arnav may hurt Khushi but he is one who tries to rectify it as soon as he can. He leaves Khushi and goes but he comes up looking for her in the next episode - Such an contrast from the IPK namesake EBP where the guy just announces marriage to humiliate the girl.

@bold:- Exactly - Now Zee is banking on PR to break the TVTs and Ekta is promoting the stuff heavily. Everyone said that PR died when the leap happened but PR actually topped after the first leap. Ekta sure knows how to sell drama. Who knows, this weeks TVTs may have her serials JA and PR rake in TVTs for Zee. Is it any wonder then that she is the number 1 in TV soap operaland. Look at QNH, Gul can't even get one MU/fight/clash of brothers/whatever correctly and made an khichdi out of the whole thing.

Vee, the Karan Mehra who is coming in PR is an different one from the Naitik of Yeh Rishta. He is one who came in Remix.

I have always loved this Arnav Khushi car ride.

Arnav's anger has been simmering for while. First he had to get Khushi back because of his Di, then she puts in the stipulation that everyday she will leave before he comes home and then she gets him to the puja by trick. He is spoilt for a fight, rather to put her back in her place. He has it all worked out in his head, he will tell her to stay within her boundaries, not to force any of her ideologies on him and then drop her home. He even starts the fight but Khushi's attack with words takes him by surprise. He has been so focused on seeing things his way that he did not see Khushi's objections on his relationship with Lavanya at all. But then he has faced similar objections multiple times so he mostly keeps calm through most of it. He asks her to mind her own business but her talking about his parents marriage is a sore point or rather the crux of his objection towards marriage.

Khushi has been running away from ASR for a while. She does not like him but there is something about him that she can't get past. Maybe it was his softer side she saw over Rakhi or may it was his want to keep his Di happy, but he is constantly in her thoughts in one form or another. His relationship with Lavanay is something that is beyond her sphere of understanding. She can't imagine a girl agreeing to something like that so she squarely places all the blame at ASR's doorstep and this is foremost in her thoughts. Which is why Arnav's asking her about forcing him to come to the puja and she is back to the live-in issue. She tries explaining a girls point of view. When that does not work she tries to explain that even his parents were married. And suddenly all discussions stop. She hits a wall she did not even know was there.

In a fit of anger he asks her to leave the car and when she does not, does the needful. But he realizes his mistake almost immediately. In his head he is trying to be reasonable. He asks her to get back in but she asks for a sorry and that he can't do. ASR can't bend that far for anyone.

He asks her to get out, in a deserted road, in the dark. This when she does not even really know what she did. He was angry but not this angry. What happened? Is he this big a rakshas that he can't understand the importance of marriage from a girls point? And he throws her out of the car for that? He comes back but she has had enough. She requires an apology and nothing less will do.

Two people with different ideologies, different upbringings, different experiences. Two people who think they are in the right and from where they stand they are right. Such brilliance in the telling of the tale. ⭐️

On the funny side: Janmashtmi is know for its moon taking forever to come. Baal gopal born at midnight etc etc. The moon sighting is never before midnight. IPK moon was out soon after at 8:40 😆

Savvy, I thought Nanital was the first time Khushi accepted his hand, after the kaamansense talk. Phir se dekhega paddi 😉
