Aisa kya Visi... i saw the trailers before but was scared... how hollywood percieves India can sometimes be so off-tangent...

😆Bilkul.. Jane Austen is to blame for everything.

It took sometime from me grasp that the roller coaster of their relationship went for sharp twists and turns within 15-20 min of the movie beginning - quite unheard as far as BW movies goes.

Howie, I thought the clichs were kept to a minimum in this movie and the cast is the best of the British best!! The human stories were the one that snared me, and for some reason India and its portrayal sorta took a back seat. Judi Dench and Tom Wilkinson's characters gripped me the most...as did Dev Patel's.

😆😆😆 Savs, get with the program. Slow burn is old school. This is kalyug - an age of 140 characters, short form writing that is meant to be gr8 😉 and instant hook ups and break ups. In fact that was the central theme, no? The conflict between old and new schools and the confused denizens caught between worlds.

Savs, as we talk about it, I'm revising my ratings - SDR inches ahead of BBB for me. 😃

Visi, hum bhi on the same page with Howie. I saw the preview and decided to steer clear. As Howie says, now this can go on the Netflix list!

Revising ratings 😆 ...

I am agree that SDR for me, appears to be more DVD worthy than BBB. I loved BBB and Shruti Kakkar/Bittoo Sharma were adorable. But i think Raghu/Gayatri's confusion and golu polu RK will 'eventually' score higher...

I would probably not have ventured into it normally...but on a 14+ hour flight to Des, the options are pretty limited😉. But it turned out great!

Another good thing that comes to mind about SDR: The whole movie was about 'boy-marries-girl' and they showed the thenga to the audience so convincingly...

I read somewhere that this movie should be called - ;Four weddings and two fiances'
