TellyBuzz brings to you the 'Confessions of a Telly-town Shopaholic'. This week we tried to unveil the shopping interests of the very beautiful Smita Bansal, who is currently seen playing the much-appreciated character of Sumitra in Colors popular show Balika Vadhu.
Let's see what does Smita has to share with us...
Share your craze for shopping with us...
Whenever I find myself free, I prefer to go over shopping. And each time I go for shopping, I don't compulsorily buy any unwanted stuff, sometimes it's just window shopping for a change. Since I have two daughters, the elder one being 10years old and the younger one being just a year old, there are variety of things in the market catering to women, right from clothing to accessories. Therefore, I avoid shopping because I get attracted to lot many things and end up buying plenty of things. (Laughs)
How often do you go for shopping?
Amidst my present schedule, I go for shopping at least once in a week.
What is your dream shopping destination?
My dream shopping destination is New York because it provides you everything with the latest collection in an affordable price. I also love to go for shopping in Paris, but it is comparatively hyper expensive. I'm a kind of a person who does shopping in budget; I just don't go overboard looking at all the attractive collections in the malls.
Where do you prefer shopping in Mumbai?
I like shopping at Infinity2 Mall in Malad; however Palladium Mall is my most-preferred shopping destination in Mumbai. They have the best brands available.
Are you brand loyal? What are your favorite brands?
In the past, I was not really a brand loyal person. But after some really awful experiences, now I prefer to go with some selective brands. For instance, I used to wear local sandals earlier and it brought me to a moment of embarrassment when it broke unexpectedly in a party. Therefore, now I only eye upon branded shoes which will uphold for long.
One color you tend to pick up the most?
Actually I like a lot of bright colors, but I always end up picking up more of White stuff. I just think that white color is too magnetic.
Quick Fire: What would you buy?
If given Rs. 10: Wada Pav
If given Rs.100: An ice-cream
If given Rs. 1000: A Mac lipstick
If given Rs.1 Lakh: Louis Vuitton bag
If given Rs. 1 Crore: Have a long-awaited desire to buy an Audi car.
What is your shopping statement?
Stay classy and comfortable.
How do you feel after shopping?
After shopping I feel really good and full of life!
