Well, dates are a must, its a sunnat of our Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H). Then a refreshing drink (ruh afza or lemonade or depends on choice) is must.

Most people like to have samosa, pakora, kachori, channa chat, dahi baray and fruit chat for aftari. My family is a bit health conscious so they avoid the fried items and just settle for fruit chat and dahi baray/channa chat.

Then dinner can be made special, but its difficult to maintain speciality throughout the month (I can't cook and my saas is very casual, so makes routine stuff, the special stuff is made by my nand once a week). As a general rule in our family, nobody is allowed to complain about food, whatever is made is eaten gracefully.

Now coming to the best part, the sweet. My entire family is sweet lover, so there has to be something sweet even if in the form of sweet fruit like mangoes and melons or ready made stuff like ice cream and cake or home made stuff like kheer, ras malai etc but we give a lot of importance to sweet.

Aree Wah Zain.. that was very informative for me.. Thank you..!!
Sweet tooth haan.. good good enjoy..!
And did you just said 'Ras malai' as home made?!!!! Which means, you must be making it AWESOME... muh main pani aa gaya!!
So is it like Keeping Fast from morning sun rise (specific time) till sunset (again specific time) after n before that time one can eat (may be specific items only), right?
But at time of fasting not even water.. uff now that's the tough call!
