@Vee:- Earlier I thought that may be TOI got confused about IPK rerun and was calling it IPK season 2. But now read few more articles and it seems like apart from IPK rerun on Life Ok, the PH Paglosean is keen on getting a new show with new cast and it is being named as IPK season 2 and the producers are trying to put the same name to milk the popularity of the previous serial. Well I don't know what else to say ? To each its own.

Dastaan - Balraj *shudder*

Kal kya batayega mujhe ... Mein woh hoon jo kal ko bata tha hoon usse kab ana hai ... Wah ji wah. I think I will this perfectly written evil character as much as Nandini Meera.

Meri Bhabi - There is more to the characters, me likes 😃 Specially with Supriyas character it will be nice to see how it unfolds. So far so good.

Toot tha huwa sitara ... Shayad sach hai ... Mein ne bhi mangli thi ... Ke meri Shradda mujhe wapas lauta de. ...

Abhi abhi apne hatoon se diya jalai hai mandir mein abhi abhi toh jhoot mat bolo ...

Bas karo apne saath janmo ki ratt, yahan ek janam nahi milta ...

Wese on a different note while surfing channel I realized that SP at the moment has the nice Saas in their shows actually ... Most in number.

Pankhudhi's Saas
Akshara's Saas
Kritika's Saas
Jeevika/Manvi's Saas (Now the show is total baseless so it tough to identify but she is nice)

Coming to Bhabo ... She is nice too in a sense that she is always against wrong ... At least what's wrong to her. At the end of the day she is an illiterate woman, a wife and mother of two illiterate men. Totally insecure with an educated Bahu who has aspirations in life and actually makes her work completely difficult by abiding by all her rules, though her Bahu comes from a totally different world than hers. What I am trying to say is ... I may not like the show but she is not a character whom one can call manipulative or evil.

So all in all in a sum total of all the shows that I have surfed in last few months ... SP does have the better content in term of relation and a wholesome product. With Mahabharat replacing Behna... It will be having different shows in each time slot which other channels lack.

Sasural Genda Phool was class apart ... Refreshing show in its true sense ... Suhana-Badi Maa also the rest of the members of the show really nice.

@bold: Exactly. She is not black or evil ... Every manipulation is questioned and attempted to be corrected.

Not talking about self or what I might do ... was actually talking about the fact that though we keep on saying SP SP SP ... It has the least amount of black and evil characters in their shows. The manipulative ones are actually more of a namunas like Pankudhi's Chachi Saas &Co.

Zee is full of it so is Colors ... Sony too has its share and has made their pala bhari with Uma Ben in gang.

Pri:- I too love Badima in SGP - She was the best MIL anyone could have and Supriya was awesome in the role. But on Bhabho I agree with Sama. She is insecure as she is illiterate and she was so worried for her son Suraj and his marriage - probably would have worried since he was in his teens. Suraj is now in complete love with Sandhya and wants her to become an IPS officer and realize her dream but Bhabho is afraid that Sandhya will leave Suraj once she becomes IPS officer. She is worried that her good son will face heart-break in the end. That was the whole reason she tried to make sure Sandhya doesn't go through her exams. But then her guilt jolts her into playing the game in a fair manner and whatever she might have been, she was not manipulative before save for this one trick. So she took upon her and corrected her wrong. She is not evil for sure. Sandhya truly loves Suraj and that is understood by bhabasa so he is quite cool with his DIL trying to go higher in life because he knows where-ever she might go, she will never leave Suraj. Bhabho has to get that confidence in the love of Sandhya for Suraj and when it is the case of our children any mother will become overprotective. So I agree with Sama on her reading of Bhabho.

Contrast that to UB in CC - She is plain evil, She just has to throw CC out because she thinks that would be a danger to her family and her kingdom. She infact rules with complete secrecy and doesn't even tell things to her husband. She accepted to the marriage because Manav walked out of the house. So UB is completely black with no redeemable qualities in her and that is the reason the show is falling so flat and doesn't strike a chord with the audience.

No this is Mukesh Khanna - the bhishma pitamaha in the old mahabharat. After Mahabharat, he played the superhero role of Shaktimaan. But somehow this interview was in a bad light - why are people suffering from foot in the mouth disease ?

SP has good shows Sama - no 2 doubts on that. The rest of the shows on Colors,Zee and Sony are lagging behind a lot. Once in a while you get shows like Ballika Vadhu and BALH which are truly different. But very soon all the shows follow the same pattern. The only problem I have with SP is it is very ruthless and the moment the show falters, it immediately jumps in the creative writing and twists the entire plot of the show haywire. They should stop meddling in the creative process of show writing.

Sony has now joined the league of black MILS with UB becoming completely black. They have seriously lost the plot of Modern Bahu and Khoobsurat somewhere down the lane.
