Actually Gul was quite hung up on KSG playing the role - she did give some interviews in the beginning of the show too that KSG will play this role. But then KSG had a very bad phase in his life with affair and 3 timing and he also didn't expect the role to become such a big hit. SP was the one who pushed Barun for the role and maybe due to that gratitude also Barun didn't speak out against SP and Gul after the red ticker disclaimer.By the time SPA 2012 happened, everyone knew how popular ASR turned out to be and that's when KSG realized what he missed out and hence he jumped in 4Lions next show QH. I think the casting and the story for QH started around May-june(since it takes 5-6 months before to launch a show) and then itself you could see Gul's interest waning in her show IPK. So basically IPK was never IPK after May, the creatives wanted to move on to QH and the storyline never made any sense - like the kernal guy mentioned on IPK forum, good storylines were never accepted and swept off the discussion. I don't fault Barun to leave the show - his contract was up, he was tired and exhausted and the storyline was not making any sense. Only thing I feel bad is that the PH could have given a decent end to this show and could have gotten in everyone's good books and closed the show gracefully. Now Gul is so ready to cover for KSG - pity she didn't feel the same for Barun and didn't have any qualms on throwing the entire blame on him for the show closure. Dekhte hai, phront phront what happens with KSG and Gul.

Oh tulip, I am still facing the culture shock in India with respect to the spending habits here. In US we are usually very conservative when we try to do purchase any big ticket item like car or house. Here people spend like anything without worrying about how they are going to pay up. And shopping ka toh - don't even ask. People buy things like there is no tomorrow. I tried to buy salwar suits for my girls and everything is damn expensive and with too much embroidery. I ended up getting material and getting it stitched for them.

KSG never expected ASR to be this hit ...That time its for the adarsh beta's and the loveable lover boys...Barun made it work with his charm and acting and everyone loved ASR though its arrogant and slightly different character...KSG had no choice and wants have a work which is good in TRP charts ...so QH was good for him and gul...he kinda behaved good and showed him as a polite person in the the begining of the show but the true colors are coming out now since the show is in one good position and promoted as Zee's no 1 show...

Yes i do feel sad and bad for BS since no one came in for rescue from the PH...no point in saying it again and again...its done with now...

But i do eagerly waiting for what is going to happen in the coming days ...lets see how long this goes on...

By the way does gul is using the negative publicity stunt for turning the eyes to her show using the attitude of KSG?!!!!!

@bold:- tulip, I was on DMG forum when DMG was on air. Had couple of friends who were hard core Armaan fans and one of them visited the set to meet the actors. Let's just say what KSG told her is something that can't be written out in a public forum. So from that time onwards, never had good opinion on him and then one thing I have observed with this guy is that he feels he is the best in TV world and none can match up to him. Agreed - he was good as Armaan but itna attitude is not good for him. Till now whoever meets Barun have always mentioned how down to earth he is, I like people like Barun.

@Bold:- No idea on that. But KSG sure is rubbing people wrong with his so called uncomfortable-ness of his wife sharing screen space with GR and his interviews for QH. It doesn't pay to be arrogant in TV industry. You never know what can happen in next 6 months. I expected KSG to get a film role during QH but seems like he still hasn't gotten any chances for BW.

Not only in shopping of cloths Psy even every one has the latest eletronic gadgets...i see a lot of iphone now ...almost everyne is having a mobile phone that costs atleast 35 to 40 k in INR...i thought day for changing from my samasung smart phone which is 2 yr old to the new iphone 5...but here i can hear ppl saying thats its sixxx month old...so they want to cahnge into a latest phone!!!!here everyone kinda made me feel that being in US i slightly stepped back in my living standards...

My hubby is saying thta one will have a culture shock when they move to US but u have it back in home and its funny!!!!!

However, the sad part is that the original star cast won't be seen in season 2 due to genuine reasons. As known, Barun is busy with his Bollywood commitments while Sanaya is fully occupied with her Sony TV show Chhanchhan.

Thus, it's quite apparent that there are no chances of the two making a presence in the new season.
