Adding to my thoughts above the main reason the uproar of the fans happened was because of the complete disregard of the PH/creatives for the epic love story they themselves have created - Killing of ASR and Khushi moving on was IMO the most pathetic storyline the PH could have come up with. Rather if they showed Arnav going to America and Khushi holding the fort alone and meanwhile buying time from the viewers to close off all the loops, I think the serial would have lasted till its original intended time. The complete disregard of the storyline, and the characters which made the show iconic was what caused the pulling off this show from TV.

In the end, I hold the channel and the PH responsible for this fiasco. Both were greedy in their own ways and looked out only for themselves. Channel wanted to cash in for SPL live in London because they sold tickets only on Arnav-Khushi's name and PH wanted to dump off this project and move on to other new shows. Both played according to their whims and fancies. In that regard, I admire both Sphere Origins (they gave Pratyusha leave for participating in Jhalak and also now they honorably replaced her) and Nautanki films(VD is again on leave for his honeymoon - He was away for 2.5 weeks for his marriage and now he is away for 2 weeks for honeymoon). Compare that to 4Lions - they used to crib whenever BS was on leave and immediately we used to see a blooper filled episode if the lead was on leave. It is like the PH intentionally wanted the audience to blame the lead for taking leave. I for one am really happy that Sanaya is far away from this PH and hopefully BS will never work with this PH again. Baaki ASR wannabe gaye thel lene - I care nothing for those people. Only wish is my favorites never end up with this PH which can't honor the actors who slog for them.

I'm happy with the way the replacement has been handled in BV. Like you said, what a slap on 4lions and Star Plus' face!!! Both the rival channels have handled their actors' decision to quit with so much of grace. Replacements can work if the makers and channel have faith in their product but if they themselves are unsure of their show and nothing can save the show!

They never considered giving our show a second chance!

@Bold:- The show would have worked if the makers didn't make mockery of the epic love story. At the last I was okay with Viraf coming in as ASR to finish off the love story but Viraf coming in as ASR's rival, killing him and Khushi falling for him was little too much for me to digest and yes in that sense I am happy the channel pulled away the show before giving a second chance with the above stupid storyline.

I saw kavi shashtri today, with 2 girls. He was looking super cool.

😆😆 i like him bas! they probably intend to mean 'renewed' not simply new. Clearly, there is an effort from both Barun and his PR to shed the ASR-ness. It is reflected in everything.. the hair, the casual clothing, the sense of moving beyond IPK... it is totally understandable.. when you do iconic roles like that, you get all the fame and the adulation but there is also the great danger of getting stuck to that role and that image and ppl being unable to accept you as anything else. Barun and PR are doing the right thing in a way. We will never stop loving ASR but for Barun, he would want his fans to look beyond ASR as well.
