Put off..? Nahi toh! I quite liked it. I mean thora filmy tha kaheen kaheen with that random hawa ka jhonka making an appearance but over all it wasn't any worst than some of the other buffoon-giri they end up showing kabhi kabhi. Megha's laid back attitude was a bit hard to digest at times, but I figured k that's just how Megha is. Not to make excuses for her, but she has always had blinders on when it comes to people she cares for/trusts. It takes forever to get in her circle of trust, but I feel k once you make it in there, she is willing to put up with A LOT before she writes you off or backs off from helping you. But even then, thori si pareshani toh banti thie. But again, nothing I can't put up with.
Mohan was clearly the star of the show for me. Because when HE realized that he was falling for her, I realized that he was falling for her. Just as HE realized that he had fallen for her long before now and that he was just realizing it now,
I realized k he had fallen for her long before now. So I realize went through the realization with her! And that may just be me being ignorant to the signs in the show.. Or it may just be the brilliance of Kunal's acting/NBT's plot because HONESTLY pata hi nahi chala k kab he fell for her but now that I look back, OF COURSE he fell for her! How I didn't see, I know not. Maybe because it could always be argued as a "main toh aisa sab k liye karta hoon" logic of Mohan's - one that even I bought into.. But finally, he had to own up to what he really felt and make me own up to it too. 😆 But you know what I liked the most - the fact k he was so content with what he had realized. There was no URGENT need to confess, no lets-corner-her-and-force-a-confession-out-of-her and definitely no lets-hate-her-ridiculously-in-an-attempt-to-NOT-love-her. It was just what it was - he loved her and that's that. There is nothing that needs to chance and nothing more that needs to be done BECAUSE of this confession. If anything, he may eventually confess to her and allow things to change because of something else.. But not because now all of a sudden because he loves her, things need to be different.
