@Anu--- Eh today's episode of EHM was a bore and ummm the "Trip-catch-stare" routine is back in full form now.
They even had a trip-catch-stare moment with Virat and Manvi and even if it was for only a few seconds it was definitely NOT needed.😳
But other parts of Manvi-Virat were okay.
Geeez how boring are Jeevika and Viren! **snooze**🥱 I forwarded their parts entirely.

it seems that this episode was solely done for the hormonal phangurls who crave for such eye-locks and trip-catch snoozefest.

P.S. I just saw this on Youtube--

Ohhh Emm Gee Yes! THAT is one of the things about BALH that completely puts me off, apart from the random storyline. Wish Kekta puts in a little more effort in her highest TRP gathering program! I know that Ram and Sakshi had commitments before they went to Australia, but the disjointed clips are a huge deterrent. Like Vasu, I watch it here and there for time pass. As it is the show is sooo slow that you can miss a couple of episodes and still know what is going on. I must've watched 2-3 episodes during the entire Ass-win track. Both the actor and the character irritated me to no end. Plus Priya's attitude to the entire state of affairs bothered me. If Priya and Shruti were as good friends as they claimed, 1) Shruti would've never married Ashwin knowing that Priya and he were in love and about to get married 2) After knowing that Ashwin upto no good, Priya should've warned or spoken to Shruti - not once did they bring up the topic of Ashwin's sleaziness between them. How typical and how unreal of Kekta's characters!

Edit: Sorry for my rant - and now, Congrats on the new CC! 🥳

Ooh I was looking to watch this trailer since a few days too...looks good...Margaret Thatcher is one fascinating character in history and I'm sure Meryl Streep is superb in this movie...will watch it when it's out.

I just saw today's EHM as well...oh lord the JV scenes...testing my patience...forwarded through all of that😆

VM scenes were better and I guess I can overlook the trip-catch cuz it wasn't as horrendous as they usually are in shows and it didn't involve an extended eyelock...just 2 seconds of awkwardness and then Maanvi even took his hand to walk on to the escalator (which he was calling an accelerator I think🤣)...it wasn't made into a big deal so it was ok. The scene in the shop was nice though with Virat seeing a softer, emotional Maanvi again...but I'm not getting the deal with Virat's past...he clams up when asked about why he lived abroad...I LOL'd when Maanvi called him PAAGAL though...haha...Nia livens up their scenes.

LOL yeah Ass-win's "track" was so much randomness...I seriously wonder what kind of monkeys write this "script"😆...pata nahin ab honeymoon mein kya kya dikhaayenge...seriously I can skip a few epis and come back to it and nothing has changed in the show...it's 'reliable' that way😆

Priya and all her crying/concern for Shruti-Ashwin just had me rolling my eyes...there wasn't any much credibility in this storyline to begin with...I could never understand this whole dynamic b/w Shruti-Priya either.

Margaret Thatcher was one influential woman! To be the only woman Prime Minister of a country thusfar, is no joke ... even US has not managed that feat. I will certainly watch this movie - just love Meryl Streep. I loved how she portrayed her character, Miranda in Devil wears Prada. She wasn't an out and out vamp - and yet her character had shades of grey that made one entirely mad.

@Iron lady-- yeah Mery Streep will be good as Thatcher. I want to watch it as well.

@Jeevika-Viren--- lol tell me about it! I forwarded their scenes too...they are just so slow and sugar coated sweet. eh...they put me to sleep.

@Virat- Manvi-- it's good that they didn't stretch the eye lock. their later scenes made it up...especially Nia's change from an emotional manvi to arguing manvi to inquisitive manvi.

@Virat's past--- i wonder too. I read somewhere that he had ventured abroad in hopes of starting some business or so but failed and that's why dadaji continues to taunt him and he doesn't want to talk about it either.

@accelerator--- LOL that was funny. I was like dude, it called "es-ca-la-tor"😆 . may be it was a slip of words...lol

@LadyM--- true that about Margaret Thatcher. She was one influential woman.
Even India has had female prime minister and president. As long as we aka US have nominees like Palin and Bachman, there's no way a woman's becoming a president in this country.

You know Anu, I could understand Sid trying to dig up dirt on Priya's past as a part of his revenge and coming up with a silly plan. But the way the script was written leading up to the ta-da end state was ridiculous. The basis of Shruti-Priya's relationship was ill-defined as well. No woman in her right senses will consort with her "best" friend when the best friend's husband is hitting on her.

WORD Amy! This time too will probably be viewed as a blip in the history of US. As long as people vote for candidates like Bush, there is no chance of that happening anytime soon.

Yeah I could take the VM scenes today cuz the dynamic b/w them generally remains casual and natural compared to JV...and having seen stuff like those 20 minute long eyelocks in CT and other sitara ek type shows, this was still ok...JV stuff was the more overtly cheesy one in today's epi and tooo slow.

I would actually say that the 'moment' of awkwardness b/w VM was shown in a pretty alright manner and they are still getting ok build up...it's not like one eyelock and suddenly their hormones are in overload😆...the fact that they could still chill and joke around with each other later at the shop shows that their dynamic is evolving relatively naturally.

I do feel that Virat's "acting" with him getting all "angry" when asked about his past is a little ummm😆...stilted I'd say...

Achha so that's his story? I thought he had some heartbreak in his past too...guess we have to see what they reveal.

I'm wondering what's in Maanvi's bag though...the one she's hiding from everyone...is it something to do with her illness?

*Edit: Re: accelerator: LOL I think he has some diction issues...he needs some more clarity in his dialogue delivery😆

U.S. is a totally different country compared to Britain or others which have had female PM/Presidents...I don't think mentally this country is prepared to hand over the reins to a woman...it may not be fair, but there it is...despite everything it remains the most powerful country in the world.

They'll choose anyone...they'll choose a black man to become President before they choose a woman and they've shown that.

And yes it makes it worse that only cartoons like Palin and Bachmann end up being nominees...sad state of affairs...maybe if there is an actual worthy female one day, she will break through all these barriers of perception.
