That is totally beyond me...I firmly believe that moms love their children unconditionally and nothing changes their love for her children! Besides, how can she hatch these evil plans when she can see how happy her son is? Guess kuch log alag hi mitti ke bane hote hain!!!

Soumya basically what i have understood from fareeda's pshye that she is that type of woman who just wants to rule ..she can't digest the fact that a girl of low standard first snatched her husband and then her biggest asset i.e. son ..fareeda from day one just ruled on her husband and whole family but when she saw that suddenly her husband due that girl for the first time snubbed her then that was shocking for her ..she didn't digested the fact that behind that its a support that baseerat wants to give to his dying sis then later her own son too going in same way like husband ..she felt threatened ..she thought how can a lower middle class girl can snatch her kingdom and her family ..she never accepted defeat so played all game ..Its also in the novel that Baseerat before dying also apologised to her for threatening her for the divorce and later it was revealed that she didn't forgave him

Exactly Tanu!!! Guess sadly an inflated ego is bigger than your love for your child!! I actually feel sorry for her...she is sooo screwed up!

@Kiran...I sorta see the logic behind Fareeda's hurt...but like Tanu says, I fail to understand it...its her son she's dealing with...I can see her anger and hurt towards her husband, but how can you hurt your own child?Isn't that bond different and stronger?
