I am..? *masoom muh* I would never..! 😲 *masoom muh some more* 😆😆😆😆 But if you end up making one, I'm sure some people would be very happy.. *gestures at herself discretely*

She DID corner him and drive him to this point, without a doubt...that is why he fought back, lashed out...but again their roles reverse...when SHE starts to feel cornered ultimately and admits defeat...and that breaks him...what irony...he started all this with the intention of teaching her a lesson not to make decisions for other ppl but to see her so broken, broke HIM *sigh* These two...ahh suchhh interesting scenes coming up...you'll love them!

I can only imagine.. Kesar toh has always been that way na! Every time someone even suggests Gulaal's pain to him or brings him out of his overwhelming turmoil enough to have him notice how it hurts Gulaal, he softens. And that softening is so instinctive k jaise it's almost embedded in his DNA. When it comes to Gulaal's pain/suffering, there is NO debate - Kesar always gives in.. I mean just that kitchen scene with Paanba right after he'd heard about the Dushyant-Gulaal rumours.. He comes there engulfed in his own jealous rage but the MINUTE Paanba talks about how he is distrusting Gulaal and what effect that will have on her, that's it.. You can SEE all the anger leave his face and there's guilt there.. For hurting his Gulaal or even thinking about doing so.. Toh to see her break down in front of him, that's going to be a lasting blow for him..
Even today's Gulaal epi was good😆...things are moving...slowly and steadily...haha

*ahem* Ok...so what I really wanted to say was that I watched Stanley ka Dabba tonight with my family. It's just so...interesting. And a unique si movie. What a creative way of telling this particular kind of a story. Even though you kind of guess what Stanley's situation might be...I mean it is predictable in a sense. But the most wonderful part was, that I was left in tears by the end of the movie. I was just so touched somehow. It was like this perfect hint of poignancy. Like just the right amount to get the emotion/message across. Nothing too much or too little. Event though I saw what was coming, I was STILL pleasantly surprised somehow. I had a faint smile as well as halke se tears when the credits rolled down at the end. And I was surprised at how this movie touched me without doing a whole lot. It didn't try too hard is what I am saying.

It really is a special movie. I'd definitely recommend watching it, if you guys haven't already. I actually liked it better than TZP too, even though I love that movie as well. Just because of how minimalistic it was. And at the same time, how broad in scope it was. The message was I mean. It was like all these tiny and seemingly insignificant moments all tying up to something very significant at the end.

And oh, this movie DEFINITELY takes you back to your school days! Even if you get nothing else from it, you will get that I am sure. I was reminded of those lunch boxes that have the little slot made for your spoon right on the lid! Do any of you guys remember those? Maybe only those of you who went to school in India/Pakistan might? But I used to (and still do) think that they were SO genius!! 😆 I don't know why, but I remember being excited taking out that little spoon from that lid. 😆 Just SO convenient man! And OH, always being excited for when you got something like Maggi noodles in your lunch box! Or just any other favourite food. 😆 Aww, those were the days! :)) That school days wali innocence and bonding is captured SO well in this movie! :)

I agree with you with regards to Stanley Ka Dabba. I was expecting the movie to be really boring and slow. It was a little slow in places, but I loved the movie! I liked it better than TZP, because TZP was melodramatic. This movie is really, really, really simple. When you start watching you don't expect the movie to make an impression or leave a long lasting effect on you, yet as you sit through it... somehow it manages to make its own place in your mind or heart or whatever lol. Watching SKD is like a reminder of your school days. Very nostalgic. Maybe that's why we liked it so much. And yeah the innocence is captured really well!

How lame!

So today in BLAH--- Step mum comes to Bat-mum's home to ask for Priya's hand in marriage. But she leaves out "priya's" name while putting the idea in front of Bat-mum. Bat-mum misunderstands for Ayesha.😳
Ummm how can she even wrap her Bat-mind around that?! Isn't Ayesha like 21 or something? How can she think about arrange-marrying her 21 year old daughter to a 42 year old man who is old enough to be her dad? Now that is what i call lame dramatic irony that the writers are trying to create.

@anu-- yeah that show.😆

hey fivr!

@Anu-- Gosh tell me about it! and how stupidly annoying is that elder brother/HOARDER character?!
btw if they think Priya is "behenji" then who do they consider "non behenji"? I thought "behenji" meant for women who were meek, gullible, stay-at-home type and the ones who cover themselves with the aroma of all the masalas in the kitchen and love to play house-house?🤓
Priya is rather outgoing from what we have seen of her...she speaks her mind but appropriately, she is a working woman with education, she is open minded and well represents a 21st century woman living in a big metropolitan city. How is she a "behenji" or "docile cow" of all things?!

What is up with indian telly shows? do they think that women who wear gaudy so called modern dresses and who apply loads of make up and have flat ironed hair 24x7 are the only ones who are "non behenji"? Really?!😳
