Just trying to read the previous posts.. so suddenly I may seem out of context.. but I guess Anu and Shreya are talkering about background music in navya??

I was watching few sholay scenes during the weekend and even posted one mausi one.. I realised, the whole scene.. there is no background to prompt the audience that it is a funny scene .. no needless tyaaa tyauuu ( errr sad attempt by me to depict the bg music .. hehe).. the dry wit and sarcasm would have been diluted if there would have been the usual bg music ..

Oh yes season one DID was amazing...do you remember Mayuresh's 'dil se' aeriel act? Now that's a CLASSIC one!😍

on another random note.. the station is playing the *dum maaro dum* title song.. ughhh .. just adding a few beats, I guess it is fair game these days to butcher an old song and add really bad lyrics..

Agree with you about Hiten. He has made a name for himself. Wonder what MB is upto? He's totally disappeared after that dance show on Sony! And I was actually rooting for him to win ... but that $@!*# Kashmira Shah and Krushna took the cake! Hawww LadyM😲...cursing and all, haan?? Not very Lady-like of you now, is it? *wags finger*😆...Dunno what MB is upto...koi stupid party wagerah attend karta phir raha hoga...social butterfly kahin ka *rolls eyes*😆

I think I do remember Mayuresh's act.. I was really sad when he was voted off in that season .. though I loved his exit speech, he was very sweet and pragmatic and esp loved the way he implored the audience to keep the dancing in perspective, I think he was mentioning about another contestant, who didnt have the flair or drama of others but was a good dancer.. sighhh, my memory fails me again in this.. it was the other marathi dude, not siddesh .. he is there in the current version as well

LMAO LadyM...you've nailed it, albeit unwillingly :P Akshara IS a 'WHAT' :P :P She's the female lead in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai...it's a Rajan Shahi show and one of the top shows I think...toh you'll understand WHAT type of show it is :P The show's been on for some 2 years I think..do saal mein koi badlaav nahi aaya uske character mein...still the flaky, annoying , always-on-the-verge-of-a-nervous-breakdown thing she was.

LOL - Maybe I should try it ... to give DH a jhatka about my cooking skills who anyways keeps harping that I don't nearly cook as well as my Mom does. On second thoughts, he'll probably finish up the butter himself since he's been praising my Mom ever since she's come to visit. *grumpy muh*

The Dum Maaro Dum title song looks so wannabe-ish ... absolutely no class. I saw the promos on TV and was totally turned off. If I had the choice, I would let classics be - not a big fan of remix, old fashioned that I am!

Edit: Oh MB = Manoj Bohra from Kasauti Zindagi Ki. I used to like him and Tina Parekh play Prem and Mukti.

Oh yeah his elimination was THE most touching one EVER! Loveddd his speech...oh he spoke of his team-mate Jai in that speech...they were both in the bottom two and after getting eliminated, Mayuresh said that this was the right decision cuz Jai deserved to stay on much more...really touching moment...I loveee season one contestants! :D
