Hi Anjali..... Zarda is a kind of dessert..... made of pulau rice, sugar .. we add yellow colour in the rice while cooking, then make a syrup with sugar and add the pulao rice, crushed pine apple and murabba, raisin, cashew, and spices...... and add ghee to it and put in in the Dum like a biriani... after some time its done......... My son calls it yellow rice.........😉 but my zarda become a bit overdone today 😭
