Thanks for the vid - they are both so sweet. & Barun screaming in the end was too cute.

It makes me want "phoor patakas" 😆 (sadly I dont celebrate diwali and even if i wanted i think fireworks are illegal in the states 😔)

yeah its now 2nd consecutive year I am not home on diwali 😕 and am missing high time.. ah how much I love fire crackers ... I might go to temple in NJ..

I just spoke to everyone back in india every1... wow 12 years, u havent been in india for diwali, gosh! I can imagine how much u must be missing home

Yes..All my trips to India has been during winter holidays or summer.. So havent been back home during Diwali ever sine I came here...

I do plan to go to the local temple here in the bay area tomorrow...

But do have enuf friends and family here.... The plan is to get some fireworks from the local chinese stores and have our share of celebration.

Amy and Fary: yes nothing like homeland ............ for festivals...

they do fireworks at the temple here at diwali....but only the sparkles......lol nothing that makes sound.😆

Hey so i have a completely different perspective - i have lived in the states my whole life so have no idea how eid and stuff is celebrated back in Paki. The most I get is by talking to be grandparents - but have never actually experienced it.

I guess once you get accostomed to something it alright - but i see where you guys are coming form..
