CSS .... this exam is equivalent to which ever exam that is required for civil services in India ... i have heard such jokes before btw .... but listening to these 🤣 no wonder 75% applicants fail to pass CSS ... english being the bane of everyone's existence i suppose

The mystery element was being played out really well. I knew in my heart that Saba would be accused of something and thrown out of the house. But the reason wouldn't have been so commonplace. I thought the author could have treated the story a bit differently rather making it mundane.

However its the old story of giving the lady a bad name, with her lover believing others and not her and then repentance all his life.

i wish that the recent hadnt been so common place either ...and i realized while watching that the author and all have played it safe here ... on the other hand i wish i could deny the relevance of this entire scenario .... such knee jerk reaction still exist .... esp that hated divorce said in the heat of a moment ... sometimes over the most mundane of things .... in the drama i guess this was about the single most damaging thing that mother could accuse saba of .... especially considering the background of the characters here (and i suppose that mother is not the most imaginative of women ... or maybe she is too cunning ....saba talks to boys all the time *scandalized* she studies with boys *scanndalizeed again* a common place ploy that she knew would work - at least with the family because this was pretty much how they viewd saba 🤢🤢🤢
remember the conversation between arfeen and his friend in epi 5 i think? turned out to be ominous (i liked this... .the connections made and hints thrown in pretty much thruout... and it all coming together nicely ) it also proved that education doesnt necessariluy mean a widening of ur horizons all that talk about changing times turned out to be jsut that ... talk .... at the end of the day arfeens wd chooses sabas rather than the mahrushs of the world 😡

. and in cases such as this .... there is no going back .... in islam ... when a coupled is divorced they cant re-marry .... so the repercussions would always be there ...

Y'know for all the outrage she's showing today, she was also one of those who accused Saba. And when Saba pleads "Kam se kam tum toh aise mat kaho" she spits venom. I would say Adil was the only one who supported her and to show his disapproval, I hope he never returns to that household.

exactly ... aqsa's reactions🤢🤢🤢 she is my least favorite character right now ... there had better be a good reason for the transformation and the transference of all the blame on arfeen ..... right now... she's acting exactly like arfeen - judgmental 🤢 i absolutely loved saba .... and u know those scenes when she first talk to arfeen in Epi 8 or 9 ... the way she spoke and and the transfomration as she realized that even arfeen didnt believe her .. and that part when she said that would u beat ur mother up the way i have been beaten up ... she was wonderful and strong throuout👏👏👏 .... and i liked what she said to her sister... something about living with respect in her husband's home👏

poor adil ... forced to become a part of all this thru no fault of his own ... and i liked what he said to his mother ... that i would never apologize to tai ma... i liked that part ... and the present day adeel was right in epi 2 or three when he said it wasnt a mistake but a sin ....

Arfeen cut a sorry figure for no fault of his. That was the author's prerogative to mould him that way. He has to behave that way to be regretful all his life later. But when he says either way I am going to suffer was done well. Now I am not sure but do you think Arfeen really believed his mother, a very devout woman? He knew how possesive she was abt him and resentful she was abt Saba. His mother is like MM from MRD!!!!

When Saba sits on the swing totally desolate, what is she thinking? That all whom she thought had faith in her were so shallow. Her own family! Her parents refuse to listen to her and her sister? The less said the better! Why blame his sisters when her sister is so accusative! That could be the reason why she doesn't want Sara to be with any of them. She probably knows that Arfeen would have to break ties with her some day or the other because the mother would never have left them in peace. Mayb his being single at the factory proved to her that he was a good man.

i think he did ... the mindset portrayed ... if ur religious than u r moral as well .... though the reality is totally different .. some of the most heinous crimes have been committed by this so called devout ppl ... he knew that she was resentful of saba but i doubt anyone could have imagined that she would go as far as she did ... even saba didnt think and not even adil .... they saw a glimpse of her real face when she accused them but even they werent aware of the full reality than how could arfeen and others ... that scene was btw was a job well done by all three ... saba... arfeen and mother ...(btw i like the comparison ... MM of MRD😆😆😆 ... at least we were spared the monologues ... which reminds me thats the other thing that i like about this serial .. hardly any monlogiues ... just a few sentence and even those in the present track 😊

i really hate aksa's hypocrisy 😡🤢 i m glad that she didnt get aksa .... the interactions between her and arfeen in the present day .... she is so self-righteous... uff

What shocked me was Arfeen's father. The way he hit Saba and kicked her. 🤢 🤢 🤢 . The men around the house are nincompoops who can't rise above the situation. Well if you don't want to be educated, then this is the stupid way you will think. His parents don't see beynd their noses. They cant seem to see the sorrow their son is going through. A lie was fabricated and the die was cast. The lynching mob pounced on poor Saba and tore her apart. Nobody would believe her against his unsullied mother. You know that proverb.....the nearer the church the farther from God? It fits perfectly.

I was happy she didn't take any oath. She had realised the uselessness of the exercise and refrained from trifling with the holy scriptures. At least she was "pak" in her body and spirit. No wonder everyone is burning in their private hell today.

And I wonder where Sara has gone? And I wonder what Hyder will have to say when the flashback ends?

the violence of that moment was pretty disturbing ... the unleashing of the inner animal ... i think thats the part which hasnt gone dwn too well with viewers... y does a man ahs to show his authority thru bodily violence?🤢 all his parents think is that arfeen brought this upon himself by associating himself with the likes of saba it will take them a while to open their eyes ... as for the brother (adil's father) i guess it is that joint family mentality ... ur family is everything and even relations thru marriages become secondary 🤢 and they were also taken in by the fact that babhi swore on the Quran ... again i refer bck to the earliest epis here .. what adil's mother said to hime ... pati bandhi gai thi humari ankhon mein etc
and i suppsoe they all thought that since saba has committed the sin of infidelity she deserves all this 🤢

the contrast has been portrayed so well b/w saba and the mother ... what saba said in the precv episode .. tht i dont pray 5 times a day and all .... the so called piety of the mother and pakness of saba ......

i wd love to know the answer to ur last two questions ... poor sara and haider ... caught in this mess .. sins of the fathers and all that ... i m sure sara knows and thats y she left .... i wonder how she found out? i think it likely she overheard something or maybe adil said something to her and sara is bound to feel guilty for doubting her mother no doubt .. and poor poor haider😭 i honestly cant guess his reaction .. . he is the good son but he is now also the good husband

as for saba's future ... the recap does give a pretty strong hint ..... and u know what even though i m furious at what saba is going thru ... . i cant deny the rationale of the choice because of tht bloody narrow-mindedness ..... what i m waiting for is some sort of admonitions from arfeen's american friend (he is another well known tv actor btw ...Humayun Saeed ... +he is the producer of the serial)


one more thing .. .that scene of mother on the prayer mat after the deed was done . . i liked it ... .no self-jsutifications or anything ... just....... scenes that depeicted the state of her mind and the way she was almosr still .... i guess i m sounding like the fan that i m 😆😳 but i really cant get enuf of the acting so far .. saba, arfeen, mother, father, adil and haider .... sometimes i dont like sara ...dont know y
