@ Khushi - lol poor you, ab tak dande kha rahi hai 😆 any other fav scenes for the show that remind you of stuff that happens in your actual life? Mummy rassi se toh nahin bandhti hai na 😉 But how about the Holi celebration and all the other big festivals they show in Gokul and Ayodhya, like both the Janm-utsavs with all the colors and folk dance etc... ever been able to catch something like that in real life? That'd be awesome!

@ Rajnish - So glad to have you back here, yaar... thanks so much for liking the new creations!!! and thanks for sharing your RS-mania origin story... so cute 😆 Lol I too was really scared of certain parts when I was little, esp when Tadaka and Surpnakha came up I would hide behind the sofa... and even that cyclops thing whose arms Ram and Lakshman cut off after which he sends them to Shabri... terrifying for a toddler 😆 but still, I couldn't stop watching... I'd cover my eyes durin those scenes and continue, if my naani and daadi turned it off I'd throw tantrums... such is the magic of RS!!!

Agreed with everything you said regarding how we should go about getting ourselves a mytho forum, but are you sure that mentioning our CCs to show their popularity - esp by pointing out the number of views they've had (I just checked the old ones outta curiosity, Ramayan FC 2 had over 20,000 and SKFC1 has had over 50,000 😲) - wouldn't help our case? I figured it would make it look like our mytho category has attracted so many other people to IF even without its own forum, that with one it'll be even more of an asset to their IF-recruiting efforts... but I get what you're saying too about being poor homeless babies 😆
Anyways will keep trying to look for those LavKush pics until you get a chance to take them, I know they're here somewhere so hopefully I can save you the trouble... but until then most welcome for the RadheShyam ones, so glad you enjoyed them and can't wait to see what you do with them!!! Speaking of which, the new UrmiLakhan sig is PHENOMENAL 👏 the texture is a perfect match to the adorable choice of pics, I am hopelessly in love with this sig and must snag - getting on that slideshow right now, but God only knows how long it'll take since you've confused me with all these gorgeous new sigs... thanks bud 😡 😆
And as far as my texturing technique, yep I do play around with the layers, adjusting hue, saturation, and opacity so the pics and texture blend better - and like I said, the lighten, darken, and multiply blend modes are great when there is an obvious color difference between the two... you seem to have mastered it with this new Urmilakhan creation, but if you still wanna work on it just let me know how you're doing it and I'll fill you in if there's anything more you can do to make the texture business work better... but as far as I can tell you're rocking on your own, honeybunch 👏

New sig guys... was soooo inspired by Shivang's brilliant dialogues and analysis of the Vaali Uddhaar scene that I made one off of its pics and chaupaais, I just love the whole forgiveness and redemption aspect of it... thanks for the inspiration Shivang! There's a second version I did with a line from the Putna Uddhaar song in SK, "Aisa DeenDayaala"... I love it and thought it conveys a similar message too... here they are, hope you like!

Woooooowzies! This is a SUPERB mindblowing spectacular siggies, Loli! As you can see, I changed my slideshow and most of it is your beautiful sigs, including this first one! The texture, blending, pics, and text are all PerFECTo!👏 This scene is really soooo emotional, RS handled it in a way in which we can blame neither Vali nor Ramji and understand the message at the same time. One of my fav scenes in Ramayan, and the guilt which Sugreev feels afterwards, as well as Tara and Angad's grief, is so realistic.

I actually really love and respect the character of Angad. If you think about it in his POV, it was extremely noble of him to support Ramji despite him being the one who ended his father's life. I mean, we all know why it happened and why Ramji was right, but in Angad's case, most if not all children would never support the one who killed their father. Angad could have agreed to Ravan's offer and betrayed Ramji, but he didn't. He is another one of those characters who realized Ramji was God and supported him despite the circumstances being against him. He was truly devoted to Ramji and was as sad as anyone else when Ramji and Lakshmanji were down with the Naag Pash.👏 And Bashir as Angad was spectacular.

Thanks for your sweet compliments. Here in IF, every famous show, book, or movie has its own forum, under different categories, so that the fans of each respective thing can go to their separate forum, but our great Ramanand Sagarji does not have his own forum.I have talked with the admins of IF before and they said that forums are created only for recent shows and movies, which is kind of unfair because all these new mytho shows like NDTV Ramayan, Jai Shri Krishna, and Meera all have their own forums where polls and various threads can be created. So I initially created Fan Club 1 for Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan in the NDTV Ramayan Forum in the form of a single thread, but when we finished 150 pages (it is a rule in IF that once about150 pages are completed, new thread must be created) and created Fan Club #2, and when we finished FC #2 as well as FC #1 of shri Krishna in JSK Forum, I decided to merge Ramayan and Shri Krishna together and create a new Chat Club in the Chat Clubs Forum. We also had some trouble in the past about Ramanand Sagar's shows not being allowed to be discussed in the New Mytho Forums, and I didn't want our FCs to be locked, so the Chat Club Forum seemed like the best place where we would never be disturbed and our CCs would be safe. Now, Lola and I are trying to convince the admins to create an everlasting forum for our old mythos, but we don't know if it will work. So until then, I try to keep these CCs as organized as possible so that it feels like a mini-forum though it's only a separate thread.😊

Yeah, I agree that the quality of technology varies in Ramayan and MB. In the war episodes, MB's tech was better but in showing the naturalness of the vanvaas and the cottages, Ramayan was better. Having been directed around the same time though, I think both Ramayan and MB looked a bit alike in terms of technology.😊

I also like many of the songs in MB, especially Kripa Krishna Ki, Prem Sagai, Binati Suniye, and the RadheKrishna songs, but like you said, while MB's songs were more lively, RJ's songs were more devotional, which is why I'm often pulled towards his choupais and bhajans. My fav songs in SK are the Maharaas Leela (Jab Antaryami Ne Dekha), Soja Lalla Soja,Kaliya Naag, Na Jaane Tose, Prem Jagat Ka Saar, and basically all the RadheKrishna songs and Bal Krishna songs. I also love the Devaki Vasudev wedding songs. In Ramayan, it is soooooooo hard to list my fav, but I never ever tire of Ram Kahani, Luv Kush Ram Kathas, Sita Ram Vivah, Swayamvar, etc, etc, basically all of them.😆

Even my favorite form of the Hanuman Chalisa is the one sung by Ravindra Jain, it truly touches my soul.😍

That technology during war looks simpler and better in Mahabharat due to natural background of clear sunny sky behind and clashing of arrows like present era and also the warriors actually fighting in the background rather than some scene put behind (In some scenes Angad is found at two places - in the main frame and in the background - that looks silly and easily caught). And also arrows hitting in the chest etc is exactly as per description in K M Ganguly's translation of the epic. But the arrow technology shown in Ramayan was fascinating for me along with leelas of Hanumanji and Angad. Also when it is regarding celestial weapons clashing with colourful design, it is not totally illogical (One disappears - becomes fruitless and goes to own abode of deities when more powerful deity weapon is faced). It looked so logical when dear RS dada has shown/treated weapons live and not NIRJEEV (Particularly when Brahmaastra and Paashupaatra have intellect to decide whether to harm Lakshman or not and Chakra does the Parikrama). Gradually I started developing interest in the deep spirituality of the serial. Though right from the childhood, I loved to see the sages so naturally and even at the age of 5, I liked the scenes of Bharadwaj, Sharbhang and Sutikshna.

I searched for your orkut profile yesterday only didi and sent add request. Please add me over there as well. And thanks for the detailed explanation about the application of the site. Now as far as I have understood, I present my analysis over here:

# In orkut, we have communities; here similarly, we have Forums - Fan clubs & Chat clubs;
# Within orkut communities, we have Threads/Forums/Topics and Polls; here, we have Posts/Replies and Poll facility only in case of FCs and not CCs;
# Community owner and moderator can accept or reject membership; here, forum starter has got that right;
# Within orkut community threads, we have different Posts one by one; here, we have Quotes to be the specific reply to individual post;
# On orkut, pictures can be posted only in certain communities if such features are enabled by the community owner; here pictures can be posted in any forum provided the person posting has crossed certain number of minimum limit posts.

So far as facilities of this CC is concerned against SK FC1, I haven't found any practical visible difference or any feature lost which you people normally use (Poll and others might be ok). I mean I have hardly found any difference in the visibility of the two. Sad that the administrators have certain restrictions particularly in case of these heavenly creations which can be treated as an exception to the general rule. Do you have all the informational contents (Apart from the pictures which you people are bound to have) saved in your PCs which have been posted in former forums? I have my all important orkut contents saved which I can send to you all in a mail too. That will make it easier & faster to read. I saw that you and Lola haven't joined Mahabharat serial community which is mainly debate dominated. However, you will find lots of posts of mine in various threads relating Ramayan with Mahabharat and advocating Ramayan.

And so far as my favourite songs are concerned, I have heard the classical songs of BalKrishnaleela part of BRC MB only a couple of times. I only admire classical music but when it comes to liking, I like simple melodious music like RJ compositions (Chhand/Choupai/Doha/Poetry based rather than RAAG AALAAP) and Rafi-Mahendra Kapoor-Lata-Asha Bhonsle songs of Shammi Kapoor-Rajendra Kumar-old Dharmendra fame movies of Asha Parekh/Sadhna. I admire 'Lalit kare nav bhor vandana' song based on raag Lalit, but I don't frequently hear it. I just hear again and again the RCM choupai based song sequences and songs of devotional lyrics with flute-taanpura speciality of RJ.

My most favourite songs in MB are:
Based on lyrics - Kripa Krishna ki (Inspirational for our daily industrious life to achieve success in academics and profession from zero base) and Jay jay Janani Shri Ganesh ki (Because it is four in one - combined devotional song for Paarvati - our family ishtdevi, Paresh/Shankar, Ganesh and Hari/Krishna)
Based on music - Again Kripa Krishna ki (Due to is rhythm and the experience as if the rivers, trees, grass & leafs sing song) and Jay jay Janani Shri Ganesh ki (Atmosphere of temple & marriage created due to Bells & Shehanai).

As you mentioned, in Ramayan there are plenty to mentioned and same thing I posted in Ramayan community on orkut. But later I made an attempt and tried to distinguish some songs in first category of my liking with lot of trouble 😊 which I copy over here:

(01) Entire song sequence from proceeding from Ayodhya for Tadka vadh to Dhanurbhang ('Purush sinh dou veer' to 'Pehenao jaymaalaa' - I couldn't distinguish those songs - for me they are the one continuous)

(02) Kevat song including Sitaji's prayer to Gangaji and description of importance of Prayaag tirth.

(03) Aise bhakt kahan

(04) Jin par kirpa Ram kare woh patthar bhi tir jate hain

(05) Navdha bhakti

(06) Janam janam muni jatanu karaai (Vaali's realization in the end)

(07) Jis kaaran aaye, us kaaraj

(08) Bharat sam nahi duja koi tyaagi

(09) Mat jaao, ruk jaao

(10) Yahi raat antim

(11) Jan jan ke priya Ram Lakhan Siya

(12) Ram ave Avadh ki ore sajani

(13) Nirnay ki ghadi ab aayee hai

(14) Song sequence starting from first war of Indrajeet (Do raajputra1) till his death

There might be some editing in this later too. [lol]

In Shri Krishna also there are plenty. The most favourite is 'Jay Shailsute'. I could come with better analysis in that also later perhaps.

I also had one idea in my mind when I was going through the SK FC1 to have a sig giving importance to less sung heros. There are three such Sigs in my mind:
(1) Vasudev, Nand & Akrur with Akrur in the center.
(2) 6 heros in 1 - Vasudev, Akrur, Nand, Shursen, Ugrsen & Garg with Garg in the center and Ugrasen-Shursen in the upper two corners.
(3) Yahoda, Rohini and Devki with Rohini in the center (I don't know but this might have been done before. 😊
