Invite Only? - Your view! - Page 7

there are many places where ppl wont feel left out and can make friends easily on IF! everyone in the invite only cc's obviously met each other elsewhere and got together here so ... its best to let things be in my opinion.

I honestly do not have a problem with the "Invite Only" CC's because everyone has a right to their own privacy. I do feel bad though for people who want to make new friends because they are new to IF. But there are a few CC that are open to everyone too, so I think they should be able to make friends. Plus sometimes I've noticed in the "Invites Only CC', they have written, if you want to join send a PM to the owner of the CC.

So in solution to that, (like I mentioned in my first post, I just like to repeat myself 😆) would the mods be able to open a CC as a sticky? That is open to not just members of the CC forum, but members of IF through out? I think that would be a great way to meet more people. :)

awww.....i didn't even realize so many people were feeling so unwelcomed!! this is bad, but i don't think that's the intentions of any of the Invite Only CC's.

i'm not trying to spam the topic, but anyone of you wanting to make new friends, join my CC "Let's Make Friends!" it's open to everyone and anyone who wants to make friends! hence the name! 😆 we all are nice, but we're kinda crazy....especially me! 🤣

Um.... This is just my view.... I'm am personally very happy with the mods for bringing this issue up. I think for newcomers that r having a hard time making friends, it would be easier if they were allowed to chat with others. I respect the opinion of others when they say they only want a selected group to chat with, which is why I think there should be seperate chat clubs where people can come and chat. And those clubs will be for everyone to get to know each other...:)

hi!!!i suggest a new member welcome thread here,where members wanting to join a specific chat club can interact with members of that chat club and get to know them,before joining.the new member can also determine who they really want to interact with,this way.besides,there are non-"invite only" chat clubs which welcome everyone.i think people start "invite only" chat clubs only when they really want to interact with a specific section of members,so yes,im all for it.unfortunately,im unable to vote in this poll

i like the concept of invite only caz sometimes the group is talkign about something very personal which is between us only and someoen randomly comes and joins you is kind of wierd i think we should be allowed the invites only way because it just makes it easier for the memebers of the CC to interact with each other and keeping track of what's going on between them again INvites only doesn't mean we r bashing someone or any thing it's just to have the privacy and takign the freedom of having ur own group of people personally i am not comfortable with random people comin and joining the convo i need to know the person a little bit before askign him her to join me
