Soha, I've been wanting to see Born on the Fourth of July since forever but haven't got the chance yet. One of these days, I'll definitely watch it though.

LOL it was a mixed BBQ b/c it was a block party. All the familes (it's mostly desis and whites) had their own grills and made food for everyone. Like some people were BBQ'ing chicken, burgers, corn, etc. It was really weird.

Well yes, the fact that I couldn't type and write was obviously a direct result of the injury. And on top of that, I had to bear attitude from my teachers, who, after a few weeks of accomodating my injury, began giving me attitude.

I told the adjuster that I still have a little pain when I'm typing too fast. I told her it happens after 15 minutes of typing, after which I take a break. She said if it's such a problem, why didn't you visit the doctor? 😕

My lawyer is NUMBNUT! When the adjuster originally saw me two years ago, my lawyer sat there mute, and my dad was telling me everything to say. After the adjuster left, he explained what I should have said. WELL THANKS ASSHOLE, BUT MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT PRIOR TO THE MEETING. Thanks, but my DAD did a better job at defending me. Ditto for my last meeting with her a few days ago, where she kept giving me shit for not visiting the doctor. The lawyer sat there mum, and it was my dad coming up with defenses. 😡

Oh, and this idiot didn't even bother to tell us what was written in the doctor's report. I mean, if the doctor's report was crap, he shoulld have called us and told us, so that we could have called the doctor and asked her to compile a better report and include other details. Now, it will look DUMB if I go and complain about my tendons now. They're going to know it's a sham.

soha do one thing .. so some research and c if such kind of cases have been there before ... where sign boards were missing and people sued the companies .... once u find them .. get there printouts and read through them ..... those cases where the judgment was in the favour of the victim/complainant .... read them and bring them to the notice of the adjuster/ judge ( whoever is presiding over the hearing ) and present your point of viewHow am I going to reasearch that and find out? My lawyer did tell me about a few cases, where a few people were injured on the hand. This one guy smashed his fingers and had four surgeries. And in the end my lawyer said, it's everything that you had gone through.

Oh, and they also brought up me not getting stitches and how I'm responsible for the scar because I chose not to get stitches. 😕
