Downadup / Conficker? It's a worm released by some hackers. Pretty nasty... it can do a lot of harm... it allows the hackers to take control of computer and lets them do whatever they want... delete files, steal information... what not

you have to get a patch from the microsoft website, and also update your antivirus software. The hijacking should only be possible if the worm is present in your computer. Otherwise, you're safe. I got a cleanup tool from Norton got my computers checked already. I'll run it again... just in case
