that might only save you for that day, unfortunately. as soon as you come online, it will activate itself.

@ Neetz: Antivirus alone won't help, you must have the security patch from Microsoft.

hmm... do you have proper version of Microsoft Windows and have 'Automatic Updates' enabled? If 'Yes', then your PC is already patched up. nothing to worry 👍🏼

Sayeed - Yeah, I have a licensed version of Microsoft, and My PC does install updates on it's own - Does that mean my PC is safe ?

Yeah, I did some research on Conficker, It seems that it spreads quite fast & deletes alot of important info from ur PC =(

ok now someone is.. good! 😊 yes, automatic updates for both Windows and Antivirus keeps you safe. Just to be 100% sure, you can manually download and run the security patch again. No harm in that. 👍🏼
