LMAO! Even during the scene where he took off his shirt in the morning and went ballistic, he looked like a deranged bulldog. I didn't even get the ending of the movie - did he get his memory back or not? Obviously his short term memory was still screwed up because he didn't remember Jiah, but how did he remember that footprint thing Jiah gave him on Asin's behalf?

I knoww. lol. The start almost made me walk out! I didn't understand the ending either. In the hospital when Jiah reminds him of Asin, he starts remembering everything, similarly perhaps the footpring thing reminded him of Asin, but its a 15 minute thing, and at the end of 15 minutes he will forget it again. <-- That does not make sense to me, yet that is all I can come up with. lol.
Speaking of 15 minutes, it was amazing how he managed to remember his memories with Asin, then managed to get to Ghajni (Bad acting on this guy's part! Couldn't they find a better actor to play the villian??) despite heavy traffic, and managed to punch a lot of fellows - all in the span on 15 minutes! I also asked my friend what if this guy didn't follow instructions.. what if he is like nah its too annoying to read the million instructions, I might as well spend my day eating, sleeping, relaxing, sipping tea, watching tv, instead of following all these stupid instructions that say "put camera here." Who cares if the camera is in the bathroom instead of the drawer??

^ I know! The 15 minute thing was really confusing. It's impossible to live a simple, NORMAL life with that condition, let alone seek revenge and act on it.
Plus, when he saw his tattoos every morning, didn't he wonder who Kalpana was before going on a rampage? He didn't even remember her death scene until the very end when Ghajini was banging that iron rod on the ground beside Jiah's body. And how come every Tom, Dick and Harry had access to Aamir's diary but himself? Maybe if he had given it a try he would've remembered Asin sooner, lol.
Ghajini was played by a mediocre actor. He didn't even look threatening. All he did was say "Aye saale!" whenever Aamir provoked him. Really, WTF.

@Sarah: Thanks yaar! Glad you liked the VM! Did you see the one on MN I made??

@GG: Rab ne was totally nonsensical yaar....and I TOTALLY agree with you on the choreography too...horrible done! The standard of YR movies has gone down SO much! Suriji and his friend Bobby were my favorite ppl in the movie.....Anushka is charming, I think she'll do well overall in the industry.

As for Ghajini, while it wasn't the most sensible of movies either, I liked it MUCH more than Rab ne.....the songs were better picturized and the love story was honestly MUCH cuter!!
My fav. bits were the first time Aamir goes to meet Asin.....and the way she starts off on her 'Sanjay mujhe Delhi airport pe ghoor raha tha' story for the millionth time.....Aamir's expressions were too adorable there! Then I also loved the bit where he says ILU to her....it was such a simply done scene! He's just watching her laugh, enchanted by her as always and then just blurts out ILU without thinking....I really liked that.

Asin obviously overacted in some parts but as you said, she deffo has great screen presence....I think she's got the chutzpah to make it big in b'wood.

And LOL.....that Ghajini was such a joker villian....me and my sister were laughing throughout all the 'violent/fighting' sequences....Aamir's grunting anger wasn't reallly very convincing, which is why I preferred businessman version of Sanjay Singhania :P

Jiah Khan was a snoozefest.....I wanted her to get lost everytime she came on screen....it's like she sleepwalked thru the entire role....and can't these ppl do SOMETHING to fix their anglicized accents! Or make her an NRI or something! LOL

Tell me about it. I didn't understand the Kalpana part at all. The villains after erasing everything on his body could have just written "Kill KALPANA" and Sanjay would have run like a dog acting upon it. Hunting all the Kalpana's in the city and killing them. Tell me about the diary. lol. First the cop, then Sunita, but this guy never got around to reading it.
Yeah. lol. The 'Aye saale!' started amusing me after a certain point. Couldn't he say something else?? The villian really ruined it for me.

@Sarah: Actually he DID remember Kalpana everytime he saw the tattoos......the doctor said in the beginning only that he still has managed to retain snatches of how she died and how he was attacked....they constantly show it throughout the movie.

Anu, I fully agree! Ghajni was a LOT better than Rab ne... Like you I found the love story in Ghajni to be reallyyy cutee! I really wasn't expecting their love story to be this good, I walked in with the assumption that Sanjay has a wife named Kalpana, and she gets killed. I was anticipating few lovey-dovey scenes, but from their initial meeting to everything else it was reallyy cute!

I didn't mind Jiah Khan so much. But you know that scene where she is supposed to be running from Sanjay. Did you see her run? It looked like she was jogging in a park. lol. So stupid!

I found the vid for the new year promo with MN in it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9S1nckYJG0

It's only like a 3 sec bit :S......and it wasn't even as funny as I'd hoped :( LOL

*Edit: @GG: LOL....yeah, the jogging was really funny as also this bit when she's giving Aamir a ride on her little scooty in the climax.....my sister commented in this dry tone, 'Very discrete'....I couldn't stop laughing🤣

Honestly, her role wasn't that amazing to begin with, upar se she didn't act well either......the climax when all she's doing is running behind Aamir as he runs thru the lanes killing all the goons.....WTF was that??? What a useless female!🤢😆

@ Anu: Oh, the doctor said that? I don't know, I wasn't paying attention to that portion ... I found the Sanjay/Kalpana love story more entertaining than Sanjay's quest for revenge.

Thanks for the promo! Everyone looks good. I wish Rati would let her hair down for once, because she'd look prettier that way. The plait and ponytail need to go. Even Sanaya should adopt a different hairstyle. I can't stand her wig anymore.
@ GG: LMAO at 'Kill Kalpana'! And his infamous hairstyle made even less sense than his tattoos and notes ... how convenient that he had the time to go to the barber's place regularly in the middle of grunting, murdering and wandering around the city! *shakes head*
