I have become quite reluctant at reading SwaRon things, and understandably I don't like the mush in the stories that usually revolve around the marriage and pretty much what is before it and after it. But the fact that I have read quite a few of your works, and they seem to be different than the usual. I am up to reading this.
This sounds like a good fiction. And you have a crisp flow of writing and have a good grip on language. I am pretty much interested in reading ahead, though time constraints may deter reading and commenting sometimes. But nevertheless, count me in and keep me in the loop whenever you update. I will read as and when I have time.-N

So, heya.
I recently read your Valentine's Drabble series & yes I actually would love to read your writings. The way you express your works is unique & crisp. I really appreciate that.Coming to the prologue, I personally feel the concept is quite interesting. Its said that Best buddies turn out to be best partners but I have a strong intuition that I might not be getting this here. I would want to see how this progresses further. The little sarcasm you put in bits adds to the humor., special mention to that Indian designers & Weightlifters part :DDo include me in your loop whenever you update.-Ayushi
Chapter One.
"My son. Come to Daddy one last time." Rishi Shekawat spread his arms, inviting his son into them. Swayam obliged and he felt the air knocked out of his lungs as his father embraced him tight, real tight. "Dad" he gasped. Rishi let him go with a sheepish smile on his face.
"It's just a matter of one week Dad. Me and Sharon will return."
"I know Swayam. But I don't think you would like to come to Daddy after your honeymoon."
Swayam turned red immediately and Sharon gasped as their parents had a hearty laugh. Sharon glanced at Swayam and both of them looked away, blood rushing up their faces.
"Father." Swayam hissed.
Sharon glared at her parents who stopped laughing that instant. Rather tried to. Sharon cringed and nudged Swayam. "Let's go please." Swayam nodded in approval, still red in the face. "Mothers and fathers, keep laughing. Me and Sharon will leave now. Bye."
"Poor kids. Wait." Sharon's mother called out to them. She hugged Sharon and kept her hand on Swayam's cheek. "Don't forget us old people and come back soon, okay? And yes, enjoy your honeymoon." she winked.
Both Swayam and Sharon cringed as 'old four' erupted in laughter. Shooting their notorious parents a death glare, both of them took hold of their suitcases and dashed towards the check in counter.

The aeroplane wobbled due to the turbulence and Sharon took Swayam's hand in a pincer-like grip. Swayam grimaced but didn't voice it. He just knew how much Sharon hated wobbly things, be it the wobble-horse in the child parks or huge aeroplanes experiencing turbulence. Soon, the wobbling reduced. Sharon sighed inwardly and her eyes fell on their intertwined hands. She shifted her eyesight a little upwards and saw him trying hard to control his laughter. So the nincompoop returns.
"Please, not today Swayam. We freaking got married few hours ago."
"I wasn't going to say anything, love. I wouldn't ever." Swayam looked at her, innocence sparkling in his eyes.
Sharon felt her heart skip a beat. This was one thing she hated about her best friend and now husband. He had such an innocent face and soul piercing eyes that it would be dominate over his hypocrisy, which would be on display for most of the time. She sighed. But then it was those eyes which had started their friendship- yawn.
Swayam chuckled seeing Sharon yawning. Poor girl must be tired. Wearing that lehenga would have drained anyone out. And Sharon, she was always a petite female, but quite ferocious at the same time. "Sleep Shar." he whispered. She cast him a dubious look and then smiled faintly before succumbing to her sleep. Her head landed on Swayam's shoulder which made him smile widely.

"The flight will land in the Bora Bora airport in a few minutes. Passengers are requested to fasten their seatbelts. Thank you for flying The Airlines."
Sharon's eyes fluttered open to see Swayam shooting flirtatious glances to the air hostess to which she was smiling demurely. Good lord, the nerve of the boy. Sharon caught hold of his ear and pulled it nicely, a dry smile on her face.
"Yeouch. Sharon, leave me. My ear's hurting." Swayam whined.
"Shame on you Swayam Shekawat. Your lawfully wedded wife is sitting beside you and here you are shooting lusty-eyed looks to another girl."
"Jealous much, Sharon?" Swayam smirked at her.
Sharon twisted his ear in response, earning another cry.
"Sharon! Okay, okay. I am sorry." he sighed, his eyes shut tight. Sharon spared him from further pain and leaned back on her seat with a satisfied smirk on her face. Swayam glared at her with amazement.
"How on earth are you my best friend?" He mused.
"I wonder the same sometimes." Sharon smirked.

"Bora Bora hotel: The hotel on stilts. Sounds nice."
"Sure it does. Nearly blew a hole in my purse."
Sharon stared at Swayam with distaste.
"It's not surprising why you ended up with me."
Swayam looked at her, confused. "What has that to do with this?" Sharon sighed. "Nothing Swayam. Come, let's go to the room. It's already nightfall." Swayam shrugged.
"Okay."
Swayam opened the bamboo door cautiously and as the whole room came into view he stood frozen, a helpless look on his face. Sharon peeped in and a guttural sound escaped her. A typical honeymoon room. Candles were placed strategically across the room and the scent was suffocating the two. Swayam looked at Sharon, his face twisted with paramount dislike for the setting. Sharon's face mirrored the same and both of them walked into the room slowly. A king-sized bed lay in the centre with rose petals on it, shaped as a heart.
"Shucks Swayam. This is-"
"I know."
***
The candles had been extinguished, the bed made free of rose petals. A faint trace of musk still lingered in the air but it was tolerable. Swayam huffed, carrying his and Sharon's suitcase to a corner. Behind him, the bathroom door clicked open and Sharon walked out, covered in a white bathrobe, her wet hair sticking to her shoulders. Swayam gulped and looked away, his ears turning red in embarassment.
It's okay Swayam. She's your wife. A voice inside him purred. Revolted by his own thoughts he quickly went to the washroom to change. As he came out, ready to crash onto the bed, Sharon stopped him with a notepad in her hand. "What now Shar? I am sleepy." Swayam yawned, grumbling.
"Don't care. This is very important, Swayam."
"More than quality sleep?" Swayam whined, sitting on the bed, his legs crossed.
"Yes.' Sharon said, eyeing Swayam seriously as she sat on the bed. "We need to split household duties."
