" Sharon , swayam sir has called you in the cabin...the extensions are not working..." A woman in her mid forties informed Sharon who was sitting in her desk going through her files...
"of course Maria...five minutes that is..." Sharon gave a goofy smile... Sharon closed the files and headed towards his cabin... She crisply knocked the door and heard a sharp come in order...
" yes sir...i will talk to the electronic head and see that the extensions are fixed in a jiffy..." She said politely...
" the extensions are all fine... I lied..." Swayam stood up from the chair and stood near the French window...
"is this a joke sir..." Sharon asked with a light smirk...
"not really...I wanted to know why the hell are you avoiding me???" he came directly into the point...
"if its not something professional...its better that I leave..." She turned to leave... Swayam didn't have the heart to stop her...

He was sure that Sharon would be sitting here now... On the rocks beside the sea facing the setting sun and reminiscing her life... swayam walked upto her and sat beside her without looking at her following her gaze towards the setting sun...
None of them looked at each other but the silence was enough for them... There are certain kinds of silence which make you walk on air...
As the last rays of the sun painted the sky with a magical brush , swayam looked at her angelic face reflecting some emotions...
"you know I love you right..." He was confident that Sharon knew it although it was the first time he had ever said this to her...
"I know..." She whispered ... Swayam held her hands in her palm...
"you can speak..." He whispered...
"I was an eight old kid sir , mom dad's angel and my grand papa's princess...i am the only daughter of the family and quite naturally was over pampered... More than mom and dad I was nanu's kid... The most special person in my life... Still now he is the most special guy in my life... I never loved dad as much as I loved him..." she paused and looked at swayam and he indicated her to continue...
"me n him were going to the shopping mall to buy a new teddy bear... Suddenly the driver said the brakes are not working... before the car could hit a rock nanu opened the door and pushed me down from the car... I came falling down on the side of the road to turn and find the car was set on fire..." Swayam shuddered...
"he was gone..." She whispered... " my best friend...my companion who promised to stay by my side forever was gone forever...he broke his promise..." She still didn't shed a single tear...
"life...its great as well as terrible...its short but endless...none of us comeout of it alive..." He squeezed her hands...
"the memories haunt..." Came the promt reply...
"do you remember his face???" swayam asked out of the blue...
"I have his picture...other wise I wouldn't have..." came the honest reply...
"memories are fine Sharon , you can't touch them , smell them , hold them... they are never exactly like the moments were... They just fade with time..." He said...
"I know sir , and I am not stuck there... Alone or not..i gotta walk forward..."
"not alone...with me by your side...give me one chance...trust me...I won't break my promise..."
"I am scared..."
"let me heal you..." He assured her...
Sharon looked at him and smiled...
"you know what...I always come here whenever I am sad...and it was nice not be out here alone for once... When you said those words it comforted me... I didn't feel alone either..." swayam smiled as he heard her speak her heart out for the first time...
He looked into her eyes as if she was the only girl in the universe...as for her , he was the entire universe...
Sharon kept her head on his shoulder both following each other's gaze to the endless horizon waiting for life to tell them the story of how much the sun loved the moon... so much that he died every day to let her breath...
