"Where are you Sharon?! Pick up the phone dammit!" Swayam muttered as he called Sharon for the 20^th time. She had not received any of his calls and neither had replied to an of his messages. Swayam couldn't even see her in the college. HOW could he not see her even once?!! Their college wasn't Hogwarts. He paced around the rehearsal hall, engrossed in hi s thoughts. He was cent percent sure now that whatever was troubling Sharon yesterday was not a small matter. He so wished to talk to her, only if she would pick up his calls.

His train of thoughts broke as Rey entered the rehearsal hall, with a perplexed look on his face. Swayam sighed, so here was another problem in their lap. Before he could ask anything Rey asked "is everything fine with Sharon, Swayam?"

It was now Swayam's turn to look perplexed. "What happened Rey?" he asked. Rey told Swayam how Sharon had refused to help them, how she was being so strangely cold and how they couldn't advertise their academy. Swayam was tensed as Rey finished. He had to talk to Sharon and know what was going on in her mind.

Sharon walked past the corridors lost in her own world. She felt a pang of guilt as she remembered the look on Rey's face when she refused to help him. Well, what else could she do? She had decided to take her mom's side and she had to abide by that decision. She knew Rey would have told Swayam about her behaviour till now. She wondered how he would react. Will he be angry at her and confront her? Or will he understand her? One question rang the loudest- how will SHE face Swayam? Sharon knew she hadn't committed a crime but the guilt was inevitable. Guilt of standing against her friends, especially Swayam. Guilt of hiding the truth from him.

BEEP! BEEP!

She took out her phone to see the 10^th where are you Sharon?!' message. She felt a tug at her heart. She had been avoiding Swayam from the morning, not ready to face him. She didn't want to do it but she had no other option at present.

"SHARON!"

She froze in her tracks on hearing her name from her mouth. She didn't dare to turn around and stood still.

Swayam sighed in relief. FINALLY he had caught up with Sharon. He saw her stand still and walked towards her. Before he could reach her, she started to walk away. "Sharon" he called out once again. She paid no heed and continued walking. "Sharon!" he ran towards her and grabbed her wrist.

Sharon drew in a sharp breath as Swayam caught her wrist. No breaking down, she reminded herself and turned around her face expressionless, her eyes cold and her inner emotions shut from her world; Swayam. She saw confusion and concern reigning on his face and smiled internally. God she loved him so much. She wondered why she couldn't tell the truth to him. He was Swayam for crying out loud...not some stranger.

"What happened Swayam? She asked bluntly.

Swayam stared at Sharon. Her cold eyes, her blatant attitude wasn't new to him. Every time she faced a problem the diva mask would capture her face. Somewhere he felt hurt that even now she wasn't comfortable sharing her problems with him but brushed it aside. Swayam knew she wouldn't do this if it wasn't something big.

"If you don't have anything to say I guess I should leave" Sharon said and turned to walk away, expecting his grip to tighten. Instead she felt her hand slip away from his grip. Utterly shocked she turned to look at Swayam and found him frozen (quite literally) staring at her.

"Swayam" she whispered.

No reply.

She gaped at him figuring what could have happened to him. His unnatural stillness was freaking her out. A teeny-tiny voice whispered in her brain "he didn't DIE did he?" causing the rest of her brain to hurl abuses at the teeny-tiny voice.

"Swayam!!" she stressed shaking his arm "what the hell happened to you?!"

Swayam snapped out of his reverie, grabbed Sharon's hand in a jiff and entered an empty classroom. Before Sharon could analyse what was happening with her, she found herself trapped between Swayam and the wall. Caught off guard, all the coldness vanished from her face and she looked into Swayam's eyes which were full of love, concern and many other emotions she couldn't decipher.

"What happened to you back there Swayam?" Sharon asked anxiously. Wait a sec, wasn't she supposed to avoid him...to hell with her avoiding! He was her boyfriend! Who had gone unusually weird a few moments ago.

A small smile appeared on Swayam's face as he saw his girlfriend's round, innocent and filled-with-anxiety eyes. "Oh...that...nothing. That was just a symptom."

"A SYMPTOM! Of what Swayam? Are you fine? I everything okay? You-"

"Hush Sharon..." Swayam placed his finger on her lips to stop the torrent of words. "It's a symptom of me going crazy Sharon...watching you so disturbed."

Sharon understood what he was talking about and looked down avoiding his gaze. This meant Swayam didn't buy her excuse yesterday. Her heart purred at that thought.

"Sharon...I hope you didn't think I would believe whatever you told me yesterday?" Swayam asked with a confused smile on his face. Sharon looked at him sheepishly. All her thoughts and strategy to hide the truth from Swayam had gone down the drain. She suddenly realised how light her heart was feeling on seeing him, hearing his voice and feeling his love. Her eyes grew moist. How could she not be able to tell Swayam?

"Sharon" Swayam cupped her face "please don't keep it all inside you...please...I can't see you like this" he said in a pleading tone.

That was the final straw for Sharon. She hugged Swayam tightly tears leaking from her eyes. She needed him to be sane. He was the only one who could calm her down, help her face her problems. She held onto him tight as Swayam ran his hand on her back, soothing her. He let her shed her emotions as he knew she needed to do so now. Soon Sharon's sobs subdued and she pulled back, her nose red as a tomato. Swayam chuckled internally. She looked so endearing.

"You want to tell what's the matter?" Swayam asked cupping her face again.

Sharon nodded "Sway...Swayam we have a 60 crore debt on us. Even my house is mortgaged and if we are not able to pay the money then...then..." she gulped.

Swayam was shocked. This was something bigger than he had imagined. Overcoming his shock he looked down at Sharon who was blabbering something silently. What should he say now? He was clueless. What should he say to not aggravate her worries?

"Sharon it's OK. It's just another problem and I am positive you will overcome it. And I am always with you know that right?"

Sharon nodded and a small smile crept up on her face. That's what Swayam wanted to see. He pulled his hand backwards and asked "but why on earth were you behaving so coldly Sharon?"

Sharon looked at him with a cheeky expression and blurted "Swayam...I was feeling guilty...I didn't know how to face you...I...I actua-"

Before she could say more Swayam placed his lips on her and took her in a kiss. Taken aback at first Sharon responded soon and they both kissed each other until they ran out of breath. Sharon looked at him and blushed. She could still feel the taste of his lips. Swayam looked at Sharon blushing and blushed a little too. He cupped her face and looked into her eyes.

"Listen Sharon, I know this is not something small and I also know that this is not going to be easy for us as well as for others. But remember one thing, WHATEVER happens you will always find me by your side. We can't let this professional gap break us Sharon. We have seen far too much to be intimidated by such a situation."

Sharon smiled. "I know Swayam. And i love you too much to let you go for such a small problem" she chuckled and hugged Swayam, her heart feeling loads lighter. She mentally smacked herself for not telling him the truth the first thing itself. At least she wouldn't have had to roam with a heavy heart the whole day.

"I agree." Came Swayam's muffled voice "you should have told me earlier. You would have felt much better." Sharon smiled and hugged him tighter in response. "Sorry" she whispered.

"Don't be Sharon" Swayam said in a loving voice. "Just remember Sharon. However the circumstances maybe...NOTHING can keep us apart now"
