It's not an OS and I don't know what to call it. Maybe a last chance to revive Swayam đ
"Sharon is changing for the good"
A small smile spread across his face as he sat on his bed adoring her picture in his phone. He recollected the moments where Sharon supported Kriya while others were against her. At the same time he went back down the memory lane when Sharon and Kriya used to be the worst of enemies ever ready to pull each other's hair and spit venom. Sharon has changed so much that she now treats Kriya as her close friend. "Interestingly weird", he thought.
"I think she deserves to be given a second chance. Can we happen again?", he thought to himself and looked into the mirror.
His mirror image let out a sarcastic grin much to his shock. "Really Swayam? Do you even think you two are meant to be?", it asked. "Don't you think so? We faced so much and she changed herself for the good. I think it's time we stay happy", he replied. "Change hun? So you are happy that your Sharon CHANGED?" it said stressing on the last word.
"Do you even remember the Sharon whom you fell in love with? She's a totally different person now. If you are loving her now and loved her then, you fell in love with two different persons brother" it said and vanished.
These words kept ringing in his ears. "Did I really want her to change?", he thought to himself. He walked slowly, lost in thoughts, towards the favourite place in his room. The place which made him smile, the place where he secretly loved someone, the place which was more precious than anything in his life, THE Sharon corner. As he opened it he glanced through all her pictures. He recollected their first meet, their first dance, their first fight, her first slap, his first love <3
Their first date, their first chai, their first kiss, their first hug was all still so fresh in his mind. His love for her was known to all but she showed hers when he needed the most. She stood up for him when his own dad didn't have faith in him, she was there for him when he was aimless and lost all hopes, she cared for him, she LOVED him!
She confessed her feelings in front of his dad, she promised to fulfil his age old 5 wishes and she did fulfil 4! It was she who came down to his place, stayed all night outside and waited just to talk to him and make sure he was fine. She did all this JUST for him. Whether it's her love or hatred, be it care or indifference, it was all FOR him. She believed he was hers!
A tiny droplet of water sneaked out unknowingly from the corner of his eye while thinking about all this. He loved her for being Sharon Rai Prakash and not for being someone else. "I'm such an idiot! My ego, my anger over shadowed my love for her! I chose to ignore what all she has done for me in the past and even after the break up just coz she is impulsive? I know she is impulsive, I always knew! She did so many things to resolve the issues between us but I turned blind and deaf to her. Now I'm thinking of giving her a chance just because she's helping my friend?"
There were moments when she was royally ignored by him. He noticed that she was hurt but he didn't go and console her. He felt she deserved all the happiness in life but now he got to know that HE was her happiness. He felt miserable to have behaved with her so badly for the last few days. She was the most precious thing he ever possessed and he just let it go?
He closed the Sharon corner and ran downstairs, locked the house, took his cycle and rode all the way to meet her.
I don't know why but I felt like writing this. I'm not sure if I can continue this but I'm feeling really bad the way Swayam's character is being butchered. It was tough to write the first few lines (that's how he is being shown right now)
I know such sudden realisations do not happen but just my way of letting out my unhappiness..
