Bashing of characters and actors are not a new thing in D3 forum and everyone are used to it... Some fans fight back to support their favs some keep silence just to avoid fights and some fans ignores the posts and fights... This thing has become normal...

But now a new trend is starting or i say a new trend of bashing the actors...i.e In the name of OS...

Many fans love imagining reading their favourite characters in the way how they like and the OS meet this level as in real we wont get what we actually want to see in ur loved characters...

And its a platform to showcase their hidden talent, their writing skills, expressiveness what ever you call it...

But if someone starts misusing this also as a platform for bashing just to highlight their favourite actors is it acceptable...

In past i came thru few OS's where they used to give write negative shade to a character just to highlight their fav ones ... But at that time it restricts only to the characters but not actors but now they started writing negative to actors also... If the same goes on , then some may write OS only to bash actors in the name of OS as there are no rules and regulations for writing a OS ( I guess)

And one more thing is that the fandom fights are restricted to D3 forum only but Fan fictions can be viewed by all the IF ...

Do you all think that D3 forum writers ke naam peh daag ho as some may say see the D3 writers are bashing actors in the name of OS ( as i already came across this thing...they are insulting D3 forum writers)

So what do u think should be done guys... Share your views...

All the fandoms can comment here and writers are most welcome...

Do u think that this thing should be taken seriously and MODS should incorporate any rules to avoid such insults of the genuine writers

I am sure that if its not corrected now then the things will be out of the hands in coming future and no one can control the happenings there

In future aisa na ho because of some writers , just to avoid reading our favs gets bashed we avoid reading the Fanfictions itself...

P.S : Don't compare and bring in issues regarding the other social networking sites and how things go there... My concern is not with the content of the OS's but the platform ( Fan fictions) which they are misusing

i agree this is a method being used by the writers to bash the characters they do not like
it is not good as stories are our own creations and they remain the best if they give a postive outlook or feeel

ya di u r rite stories need to give a postive vibe while reading them.they should refresh the mind of the readers .but alll this makes the case even worse

di i would not mention other social networking sites since u have already asked not to mention the same . bashing / criticizing CHARACTERS is not new in fan fictions .

i m not talking about just D3 fan fiction...i have seen this trend in other show's fan fictions too and i dont think there is anything WRONG in it .

But yes bashing of actors in fan fictions should not be done because as u said the GENUINE writers will also suffer its disadvantage .

i m not a writer but i m definitely a reader . as far as i remember i have not come across any such fan fiction bashing ACTORS .

bashing of ACTORS should definitely not be brought into fan fictions because we dont read fan fictions to fulfill our desire to read something BAD about any ACTOR .

we readers read fan fictions ONLY for our favorites . i dont think any GENUINE reader of fan fiction will b INTERESTED in reading any stuff like this . but since u are saying , i m sure it must b happening .

i would request SUCH writers to please dont write such stuffs because the GENUINE writers will also suffer its disadvantage plus GENUINE readers of fan fictions are not INTERESTED in reading fan fictions where OTHERS are bashed instead of APPRECIATING their own favorites .

there are other places too where we can ooze out our frustration and dislike but fan fictions is definitely not that platform .

Thank you for the post i just want to say those who are passionate for writing dont do these kind of things n those who write just to put their p.o.v blindly to prove that whatever i am saying is the only truth those actually dont have imagination n creativity to write something n those need rules in this forum bcs each fanbase of d3 got their own set of awesome writers.
